Tuesday gave us yet another reminder that chasing after the Latino vote is a self-delusional exercise for Republicans. They aren’t interested in our values and never will be.
The plurality Hispanic Albuquerque New Mexico had a chance to vote down late term abortions, which are arguably the vilest of infanticides, but decided not to do so. The vote was a 55/45 landslide for death and Democrat politics of doing anything including killing babies to satisfy their depraved supporters.
In a special election to determine the moral rectitude of the people of Albuquerque they decided that taking orders from their Democrat masters...

I don't know about New Mexico, but in California, I would write them off, but then again, California is the belly of the beast.

but only ones come to mind for me are Bush in his gubernatorial races in Texas..Texas latinos used to be a distinct bunch compared to elsewhere...shared traditions...but that has changed quick....new latinos swarming in devoid of that Texican allegiance
there are likely a few more but they are few
neither you nor I will be along by the time this plays and out and they change
and what this nation goes thru when they and other minorities hold unchallenged power will probably transform us way beyond anything we can imagine
we are getting a taste now with white liberal kapos being the real balance of power for the progressive socialists
if that segment peels off our way it really matters at least for now
but when latinos and blacks and other minorities are the majority with their voting habits...it's over
i sure don't see them changing they have only gotten much worse in my lifetime and our culture feeds this from cradle to grave now
we owe them...we are the bad guy

I have to agree. Maybe someday, but not in our lifetimes.
If Republicans would come out strong against amnesty, demand the borders be closed, illegals be deported, and even legal immigration reduced or a moratorium on it; plus eliminating the anchor baby laws, many of the white voters who’ve been staying home in disgust on voting day would flock to them. And then maybe they wouldn’t have to worry so much about pandering to a group that will never vote for them.
But...they don’t call them the stupid party for nothing.
Yet the Catholic Church persists in its delusion that if we legalize all these folks and register them to vote, abortion would be outlawed the next day.
One Democratic constituency in which the GOP did make inroads was white Southerners. Prior to the 1960's, the only white Republicans one could find in the Deep South were "Post Office Republicans" who hoped to win patronage position such as postmaster should a Republican be elected president. That constituency has now completely flipped.
The Iberian Peninsula also faired poorly in the lost wallet test. Most of the most dishonest cites were there or in their proxy states in South America.

As for Catholics, as a group they are Democrats in the US. The CINOs overwhelmingly so.
Libertarian type views destroyed the democrats among white southerners, social liberalism and being weak on national defense.
Blacks switched from republican to democrat in 1936.
Hispanics vote like Catholics traditionally have voted in America, in fact, Protestant Hispanics are in play with republicans, and voted 56% republican in 2004, and 48% GOP in 2008.
I have a Hispanic background, have worked with the Hispanic people and have much affection for them. I see the faces of my family when I am with them but politically the posters on this thread are absolutely correct. The best we conservatives will ever do in gathering their support is 40% in my opinion.
And .. if anybody is paying attention, if this admin manages to get amnesty .. it could mean more than TEN MILLION MORE DEMOCRAT VOTERS; that’s 10,000,000.
The repubs would never win any election again, EVER.

As a self exiled New Mexican, I can tell you there are a lot of bleeding heart white liberals in ABQ. The University of NM is in the center of the city with professors that are committed socialist and communist. Employment is dominated by government and the economy is highly driven by the labs in ABQ and in Los Alamos. You would be stunned that in our National weapons labs the number of employees that are bleeding heart libs. My father in law is one and they have to stick an IV in him just to vote.
I've read other sources saying it's in the 20-30 million range. If amnesty passes, a floodgate of foreigners will hit our borders and be the perfect Cloward-Piven collapse of the system. I've said for years, amnesty is our last line in the sand. Will the republicans hold the line? Will We the People have to do it?

They’ve been legalizing these folks as fast as they can, through marriage and other loopholes. We still have 20 to 35 million illegals in country.

Mccain said it wont get GOP one vote BUT it will get the GOP ‘up to bat’ in trying to convince Hispanics to vote GOP.
He said until GOP passes amnesty, Hispanics will cover their ears and ignore anthing they say.
Says he would have won in 2008 'you guys' didnt kill immigration reform.
Translation: white people will be extremely lucky, if the only thing we lose is our civil rights. I am just pessimistic enough about it, to believe that whites will be hunted down and murdered by the thousands. Who knows how long it will take for this to happen, but it has happened in other countries, like South Africa.

Time to start writing letters, sending emails, and making phone calls.
We cannot give up and allow them to steal our country.
