One of two victims identified as Adonis Mera, 14, who was skating with his friends and sister [may never walk again]

A New York teenager has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly opened fire at skaters in Manhattan's Bryant Park and then seemed to confess to the crime on Facebook.

During an hour-long standoff at his Bronx apartment on Sunday morning, Corey Dunton, 16, wrote on the social media website: 'Feds trien [sic] kick down my door its over were do i go from hereeeee...[I don't know] wat to do i f----ed up.'

Minutes later, he added: 'These n----s gunna have to take me out take my life … I aint goin to jail i reather [sic] take my life!!'

The alleged gang member is accused of shooting two men at the ice rink because of a dispute with another man over a coveted 'biggie' jacket he was wearing.

When police began banging on his door at around 8 a.m., he posted: 'Feds at my door Im goin out with a bang!!!!!!! take my soul.'

He is suspected to be a member of the Bloods gang and was taken to the Midtown South precinct house in Manhattan where he refused to answer questions and demanded a lawyer.

The teenager allegedly fired on Javier Contreras, 20, of the Bronx, but in doing so hit Adonis Mera, 14, of Manhattan who now faces being paralyzed from the waist down.

Police believe that Contreras was targeted for the particular Marmot Mammoth 'biggie' jacket he was wearing and was shot in the hand and the hips.

A source with the NYPD confirmed that Contreras and Dunton knew each other.

The arrest of Dunton comes after the distraught family of 14-year-old Mera expressed their fears he will never walk again.

As part of his sentence, perhaps they could inject him with something that would cause a temporary paralysis without him knowing it, giving him time to contemplate directly the harm he caused.

As part of his sentence... we should force him to speak in coherent sentences.

Whenever I am asked to support a school levy, I respond thus: ‘I will vote for it if all funds raised go to improving facilities. I will not vote for it if it includes pay and benefit raises for personnel.’

Silence usually ensues.

I think it’s a kind of jacket that rapper Biggie Smalls used to wear, before sumbody busta cap in his azz.

Well, now, that certainly looks like something worth going to war to steal, that’s for certain. Throw your whole life in the toilet trying to steal some orange plastic.

It’s nice that he gave a full confession on social media.

It's DeBlasio Time!

Except Adonis Mera can't afford Abner Louima's press agent.

The perp is a wannabe gangsta. After this, he deserves to locked up until he’s about fifty.

Too bad they didn’t kill him.
Too bad we can’t execute him.
We really need to overturn the SCOTUS on its idiot idea that “children” can’t be put to death for their crimes.

As much as he can otherwise be detested, in circumstances like these, I wonder if the convicted perp could be put in a B.F. Skinner-style “Operant conditioning chamber”, where they could have at least some of their antisocial behavior trained out of them.

This works both ways. If he exhibits good behavior, he gets a small reward. If he exhibits bad behavior, he gets an electric shock as punishment.

An elaborate system of this kind could teach him to speak only polite English with good enunciation, including “Yes Sir” and “Yes Ma’am”. He could be shown objects he wants but are not good for him, like guns, that when he tries to grab them, he gets an electrical shock.

He could be shown pictures of gang bangers making gang signs, that if he responds to, he gets a shock. etc. Years worth of conditioning so that he *wants* to exhibit good behavior, and is *afraid* of behaving badly.

In this way he could actually get something out of his prison sentence.

It seems to me that they made a movie about exactly that once. Something about clocks and the color of that jacket...

I see he used the “N” word, which was disguised in the news reports.

He should be shunned as was Paula Deen. He said a very bad word. Shame on him...............

I’m thinking it has to do something with Biggie Fries from Wendy’s fast food restaurants. Is it a Wendy’s Members Only-style jacket?

That is one ugly coat! There are few people who can even wear that color. Yuck!

Do we know what proscribed weapon under the NYS Safe Act was used by Corey Dunton? Did it hold more than 7 rounds? Did the evil gun cast a spell on the poor soul and render him powerless to prevent the weapon from shooting Javier Contreras and Adonis Mera? Corey Dunton is another of Obama’s and Holder's sons of the African Amish branch.
