Hack GOPe pollster: “The Republican Party needs to throw in the towel on the immigration issue.”
Coach is Right ^ | 11/5/13 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

In a recent wishful thinking propaganda piece the New York Times hit some themes that we’ve seen before, but broke some new ground with quotes from a Republican pollster and a “friendly” Democrat pollster.

After pounding away with the usual tired lies about how racist Whites are, it quoted a useful idiot Republican pollster named Fred Steeper saying, “The Republican Party needs to throw in the towel on the immigration issue.” How much wrong can you pack into one stupid head?

In spite of solid statistical evidence that had Mitt Romney won even 70% of the Hispanic vote he would still have lost, both Steeper and the Times parrot the same Democrat/GOPe/Chamber of Commerce line about not alienating Hispanics. This is of course, followed by the charge that White racism is...

open borders + welfare = bankruptcy. You can have one or the other but not both.

Just remember, it’s Racist to have immigration laws

That’s the meme now

They are serious about this: if a non-white wants to enter and stay in the United States, the deranged Democrats want to make sure that they can do just that - in whatever numbers they desire.

They are interpreting the 14th amendment to mean that Invasion is a civil right...as long as it’s by a non-white group.

Any resistance to this and they will scream “racist!”

At which point, the wimpy elites will fold....like this guy

“The Republican Party needs to throw in the towel on the immigration issue.”

Translation: The Democrats do not have the votes (or the cover) to pass their immigration bill, so they need GOP-e help.

What issue shouldn’t the Republicans give up on?

Right, let's reward those who have broken the law by gifting them what the sought to steal.
Right, let's inflate the Democrat electorate by millions.
Right, that wins elections for Republicans and reverses the downward spiral of the nation and its economy.
Clearly, this clown is the the Steve Schmidt of pollsters.

“The Republican Party needs to draw a line in the sand and show the American people that there is a difference between Republicans and Democrats and then Americans can make their own informed choices on election day with the knowledge that their vote does matter. I don’t think I have ever talked to anyone who was in favor of amnesty that wasn’t a Mexican btw.

Amnesty is simply the reward for corporate donors to politicians more concerned about re-election and power than their constituents.

It is a traitorous, stab-in-the-back, Trojan Horse action by those who are supposed to be our friend.

The Republican party needs to parse the Immigration issue, to deal with it clearly.

1) A resounding NO to the “open borders” socialists, and greedy capitalists who want to employ illegal aliens because they are cheap. This means closing the borders, and if they really want to make a difference, establishing “quality” quotas for immigrants. Pretty much no more Muslims from any country. We already have more than we need or want.

2) If families in the US have both legal and illegal members, we are pretty much stuck with their illegal members under the rules we have right now. But before they can be legalized they must integrate. This means learn English, hold down a job with a work permit, stay out of trouble. Welfare is a no-go.

3) Serious criminals are a major problem that has to be handled carefully. Mexico cannot handle too many at once, just kicked over the border, because they will immediately work for the cartels and be a nightmare for both countries.

So the best bet is to make maximum, medium, and minimum security “deportation holding centers” right on the border, so that they can be trickled back to Mexico at a rate they can handle. In turn, Mexico puts up similar “holding centers” in the *South* of Mexico, where the criminals are detained until their “Mexican identity” can be established.

The US *flies* the criminals on planes from the US to likely Oaxaca, jumping over the cartels. Then the Mexican government holds them until it can release them at its own pace, in the safer part of Mexico.

4) Non-Mexican illegal aliens coming up from Mexico are an easy problem to solve on a budget. Basically a fund (bounty) is set up to pay Mexicans who inform on non-Mexican aliens trying to cross the border. They are paid in cash if we catch these people, based on the relative value of who we catch. Money is so tight just south of the border that it would be impenetrable.

Polls have showed time and again that the vast majority of American voters favor tightening border security and NO amnesty for illegal aliens (whom the Left is now dubbing as "undocumented immigrants"). So Republicans joining in with the 'Rats for Obama-style "immigration reform" would be not only show a lack of respect for the law and for civil society, but would be leading the way for political suicide for the GOP!

And the death of the Republican Party is precisely the goal of the New York Slimes and the Left, so it's hardly a surprise that they would concoct such an article, faking that they and their "Republican consultant" have the GOP's best interests at heart.

Uh huh. :-) My Congressman (Stephen Palazzo) has just introduced a bill to set term limits and in a way that just might pass the SCOTUS in a 5 to 4 decision. I am betting boehner would rather drink Drano than bring it up for a vote.

A lot of legal hispanics are against amnesty from what I hear.

Surrendering that issue isn’t going to win any elections for the GOPe.

Rand Paul’s immigration speech
03.19.13 | Hon Sen Rand Paul (KY)
Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg

...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let’s start that conversation by acknowledging we aren’t going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
[but he’s not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]
