First ever vanity -
Was watching the Minnesota-Dallas game on Fox when this misleading ad came on to claim how all these people are "covered" for healthcare for things like check-ups and accidents.
TOTAL BS!!!!!!
Given the monthly payments and the out of sight deductibles I've seen quoted in multiple articles, they aren't "covered"!!! They still have to pay $$$ out of pocket for those types of expenses until they meet their deductible which will happen NEVER for a normal family that doesn't have a catastrophic illness.
Oh, and the Cowboys just now finally scored a TD to open the second half...

Don’t forget
all those families are saving an average of $2,500 per year, too!

They should be saying “I’m a Moron”.

They still have to pay $$$ out of pocket for those types of expenses until they meet their deductible which will happen NEVER for a normal family that doesn't have a catastrophic illness. That is true in many cases. About the only benefit is that pre-deductible medical charges will generally be at the insurance company negotiated rate, which can be substantially lower.

Guess what? Preventive care isn’t free. You’re still paying for it.

Preventive care isnt free. Youre still paying for it. And that's a good thing. Because we don't need "prepaid health care" and we do need "health insurance".

HealthCare.gov is like something Dr. Forrester would create.
