The CEO of AETNA has stated that the EARLIEST the ObamaCare website can be operating is sometime in 2017 and then ONLY if they shut down the website, completely scrap the WASTED billion dollar obsolete software, and then start from scratch with new software.

WASHINGTON—Responding to widespread criticism regarding its health care website, the federal government today unveiled its new, improved Obamacare program, which allows Americans to purchase health insurance after installing a software bundle contained on 35 floppy disks. “I have heard the complaints about the existing website, and I can assure you that with this revised system, finding the right health care option for you and your family is as easy as loading 35 floppy disks sequentially into your disk drive and following the onscreen prompts,” President Obama told reporters this morning, explaining that the nearly three dozen 3.5-inch diskettes contain all the data needed for individuals to enroll in the Health Insurance Marketplace, while noting that the updated Obamacare software is mouse-compatible and requires a 386 Pentium processor with at least 8 MB of system RAM to function properly. “Just fire up MS-DOS, enter ‘A:\>dir *.exe’ into the command line, and then follow the instructions to install the Obamacare batch files—it should only take four or five hours at the most. You can press F1 for help if you run into any problems. And be sure your monitor’s screen resolution is at 320 x 200 or it might not display properly.” Obama added that the federal government hopes to have a six–CD-ROM version of the program available by 2016.

I know there are a lot of problems with the ACA website, but I am not sure you can count out a coordinated DOS attack by right wing nut jobs.

Impossible - like you always tell us, we are too backward to even know how to use the Internet. :)

Ted Cruz should submit a bill to rename ACA to the “Patient Protection, Citizens Affordable Care Act”
Otherwise known as PP CACA.

Why would anyone whose premiums and deductibles would increase dramatically sign up instead of wait?

I will not sign up. I will buy insurance as it is available outside the exchange and not pay the fine.

Fascists just doing what they do. When their heavy handed, iron fisted, central government dictats fail, they must blame their political opponents. After the blame begins to be accepted, then it is easy to demonize and eventually the public will begin to clamor for “action.” What action will be deemed “necessary for the common good?” Punishment of course!

I am beginning to understand the Democrats’ fixation on high speed rail! All the quicker to the gulag for us evil political opponents!

I see this as a phased liberal plot

1) Promise insurance companies increased (and subsidized) customer base, to get their support. Check

2) Pass Commiecare. Check

3) Commiecare isn’t financially viable. Who knew? This launches a three prong attack:

a) Demonize doctors for charging too much, and reduce payments for services.

b) Demonize the insurance companies, and reduce their subsidy, while strong arming them into not reducing rates.

c) Demonize the ‘Rich’ for not being stupid enough to keep investing and paying the commiecare high end cap gains tax, or selling high value houses subject to commiecare tax.

4. Wait and see how they can profit from the chaos. Any three of the strawmen they’ve set up could fall...they could end up convincing the public that ‘health practicioners’ are as good as a doctor, under c-care...or maybe squeeze the profits out of insurance so much, that the insurance companies start to fold...and of course they can probably rally for more taxes.

But it all depends on getting Obamacare up and running. If all the ‘marks’ don’t participate, they can reap their political gains.

I think the CEO of AETNA has had a moment of clarity...and at all costs wants to Delay something the insurance industry initially supported.

Dean admits that Republicans delayed everything but fails to see that was a good thing.

These people live on another reality plain but have the corporate media to spew their biddings.

Whoever this poster is has really no hope in the real world....

Corporate media is on the side of the Republicans?! HA! When will these kool-aid drinkers realize that Obama is MUCH MORE 1%er than Bush ever was? Never.

AND Obama issued a NO-BID contract (Halliburton ring a bell, DUmmies!) to a company who had recent past issues with their products!

AND this company isn’t even a US company!! This President turned over the creation of a website that will be responsible for protecting the identity of millions of Americans to another country? The depth of his incompetence grows daily.
