Boehner To Allow Vote On Senate Surrender To Obama - Washington Redskins Name Changed
Confounded Interest ^ | 10/16/2013 | Anthony B. Sanders

Posted on 10/16/2013 10:10:49 AM PDT by whitedog57

Despite no evidence in financial markets of a default, House Speaker John Boehner (RINO-OH) will bring the Senate clean Continuing Resolution (CR) to The House floor for a vote.

The endless spending and debt growth in Washington DC will continue now that the Senate has turned over the power of pursestrings to The President (once House Republicans agree).

Obamacare was already a tremendous transfer of power and control to the Executive Branch, and now capitulating to President Obama gives the Executive Branch overwhelming power and control.

In order to honor our career politicians in Congress and the Administration, the Washington Redskins owners have decided to rename the team. This new name is a memorial to how politicians constantly screw their constituents and taxpayers in order to get re-elected.

They should just remove the last four letters and make it “Reds”.

The US is finally emulating that shining example of political and economic success that is Argentina.

It’s over. The 2014 election will make no difference. There are no checks and balances and all behavior is now subject to government laws, rules and regulations.

And we saw how that turned out there isn’t one thing he can’t screw up.

Finally it is beginning to register that America is finished. The House no longer have control over the budget. The Senate is a communists controlled body under the direction of our dictator King Obama. AMERICA IS ON THE BRINK OF DESTRUCTION. Miss Romney yet? I tried to tell you. Romney gave up the last two weeks of the run because of all the crap the Democrats and Republicans gave him. Good luck, jackasses that just didn't get it.

I'm offended by the name "New England Patriots," as everyone knows that the state that birthed Ted Kennedy is full of anything but "Patriots."

I'm also offended by the "Minnesota Vikings" because I'm of Scandinavian heritage and can be.

The "Dallas Cowboys" is a name derived from a historically pejorative term. Calling someone a "cowboy" in the frontier days was sort of like calling someone a "redneck" today. It wasn't a nice thing to call someone. In fact, where I live today, they still prefer the term "rancher" to "cowboy."

I'm offended by the name "Houston Texans," mostly because a team that sucks so badly shouldn't be out there representing the citizens of Texas.

"Oakland Raiders" is an offensive name because everyone knows that not all sailors are violent pirates (see "Vikings," above), plus the one-eyed man is offensive to handicapped people.

The "Cleveland Browns" is a name offensive to the citizens of Cleveland because no team should be named after a skidmark.

As for the "Packers" and the "49ers," I'm sure someone can think of a reason to be offended.

The Washington Redskins are very embarrassed by their team's name—because it has the word “Washington” in it.
