At a White House press conference Friday afternoon, President Obama said that health insurance plans offered under Obamacare will be "significantly cheaper" than plans currently on the market, but a string of recent reports say that isn't true.

More from the horse’s mouth.
I don’t think that’s his mouth...
Unless you are Congress critters or their staff.
Never was meant to be true.
This is yet another step to destroy the country, the middle class (into the lower class, he wants all of us poor and unable to fight back, be controlled).
This was always the plan. Now they are exempting themselves.
The elite can’t pay for it, but it will all save us money.
Right.
Nothing he says is the truth, why would this be different?
How many states are we now up to that have stated they aren't going to be ready to meet the Oct 1 launch date?!
Apparently, Obama hasn't gotten the memo, yet!
President Barack Obama signed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act into law on March 23, 2010.
When the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (AKA Obamacare) is fully enforced on individuals and families next year, a middle-aged, middle-class couple with three children could be hit with a $9,355 hike in their annual health-insurance premiums if their annual household income happens to increase by just $1.

“We will keep this promise. If you like your doctor you will be able to keep your doctor.” Obammy, 2010
HHS, 2013: There’s no guarantee you will keep your doctor.
Insurance costs equate to services. No service...

Should be...
Scorpion: Hey frog, can I get a ride across the river?
Frog: Sure...whats the worst that could happen?
People don’t seem to be too eager to sign up for this. Maybe if enough don’t it will crash and burn. They probably won’t get all the young people they need.
According to a company president I spoke with yesterday his penalty for each uninsured person will be $3,000. So, he has added $1.50 per billable hour to each person’s billing rate. That’s 2080 hours per year divided into $3,000; actually, $1.44/hr. He says this is significantly cheaper than the insurance. He has to set his rates now. If he includes insurance (he can’t get a rate quote, so he can’t really estimate) and his competitors don’t, then he will be outbid next year and out of business.
His company average billing is approximately $85/hr. Now it’s 86.50/hr. But suppose everybody made minimum wage. That’s $7.79/hr next year in Florida. If he adds $1.50/hr to his cost then his cost is $9.29/hr. The employees won’t be seeing that extra $1.50 as that’s his added cost. (Actual cost with taxes and state “penalties,” SS, etc. is approximately $7.79*1.45+$1.50=$12.79/hr) His price for product structure must reflect this added cost.
The IRS says the lowest insurance package for a family of four will be $20,000. Dividing $20,000 insurance cost by the number of hours (2,080) gives you an hourly cost of 9.61 just for the insurance. A minimum wage employee makes 7.79/hr * 2080 hrs= $16,203 dollars. That’s less than the cost of the insurance they’d buy for a family of four. Us taxpayers are supposed to make up the difference with subsidies. This is pure insanity.
One thing that does not get talked about with Obamacare is that it is NOT insurance.
If you cannot pay the amount the government decides that the IRS will take from you, then you will be placed into your states welfare roles. And if you get sick, and require care, the state will pay...
...THEN THE STATE WILL GO AFTER ALL YOUR ASSETS TO COVER THE COSTS. AND YOU OR GRANDMA WILL LOSE YOUR HOUSE OR OTHER BELONGINGS.
There is no good side to Obama care and making sure people were covered more than they are now is not what it does.
OBAMACARE MAKES SURE THAT THE MEDICAL-INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX HAS INCOME FROM TAKING HOMES AND ASSETS FROM PEOPLE.
DO NOT FORGET THIS

Note from CNS News
People whose household income is too small to qualify for the subsidy will be put on Medicaid. People whose household income exceeds 400 percent of the FPL will get no subsidy at all.
According to the IRS, which responded to a CNSNews.com inquiry on the issue, a household earning an annual income that is just $1 more than 400 percent of the FPL is ineligible for an Obamacare subsidy, period.
As explained by both the IRSwhich wrote the regulation governing the Obamacare subsidyand the Congressional Research Service, which published a July 31 report on the matter (Health Insurance Premium Credits in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act), the Obamacare insurance-premium subsidy essentially works as a cap on the percentage of annual income an eligible person is required to pay in health-insurance premiums.
So Barry is a liar. What else is new?
Exactly. He’s a chronic liar. Period.
However, if you're presently a 40 year old woman who has no intentions of having a child, don't care about a yearly physical, and carry a $2,500 yearly deductible as you're more worried about having the coverage in case of an accident, then your rates are just about to go through the roof. And if you're a 40 year old guy? Your rates are at least going to double, if not triple from today's prices.
The problem is that some desk jockey gets to determine what benefits you can have and which you must have. College students are also going to take a heavy hit as well - most universities now require health insurance coverage, and income for these students will be calculated off of their parent's income - more 'college debt' as universities helpfully charge these insurance plans to the student account so you can finance it with a student loan.
The only reason I can think of to keep up the pretense is to keep the street corner beggars, hookers, pimps and drug dealers happy, along with all the other clueless people who voted for this fool twice.
