I am beyond angry. As a father of five girls I can not digest the horror of what I just read. I can not help but be angry at our Senators who had to hastily pass this immigration bill, that they did not have time to read, and neglect the major issue of securing the borders. I heard the fences labeled as too expensive or simply called “stupid.” Yet many of these same despicable men and women dare use another tragedy to continually push a gun control agenda.
All I can say is that you are going to take the stance that guns kill people then lack of fences also raped this poor innocent child.

It is not a question of if, it is only a question of when. Actually, the components are probably here already.
As sad as it is, my hope is they detonate/release it within the DC beltway. I firmly believe the only way our "leaders" will get serious about border security is if they feel personally threatened and as if their loved-ones are at risk. Right now I think they see the porous southern border as a mere topic of conversation on the cocktail circuit - a source of recreational drugs, cheap labor, and potential future 'rat voters. It is going to take a serious, devastating incident to change that preception.
Only chance to stop the Amnesty bill is for the House not to consider any immigration related bill at all.
Michelle Bachman explained it. ANY House bill no matter if it promises all the border security in the world will be a trojan horse.NO bill at all must come out of the House because it will be merged with the Senate Amnesty and trojan horse bill. Call congress.
Tell them to stop all Amnesty or immigration bills.they are all trojan horse bills. some will promise border security that will never be enforced anyway.
Bachmann explained it . The House will write a border security bill only . then in conference the senate will add the virus and then bring it back to the house. then the conservatives won’t vote for it but democrats will all vote for it so then they only need 10% of republicans to pass Amnesty and the virus that will destroy America. so any bill at all will be added the virus . so best thing is for Boner to not let any immigration bill at all come out of the House. that is the only hope . call boner and the members of the House.

Absolutely. Until something tragic as a direct result of illegal immigration affects a member of Congress personally, it’ll still be an issue that is swept under the rug. You’d thing elected officials on committees and such would have more foresight and sense before it’s too late, but apparently not.
Sad fact is, 9/11 happened almost a dozen years ago and we’re still politically and economically paralyzed by the event and its aftermath.

Part of the “Sanctuary City” gig means *not* working with the Feds to find and remove illegals.

Mexicans Juan Lozano Ortega, 25, and Edgar Gerardo Guzman Perez, 26, were charged last Wednesday with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
They are accused of being part of a gang of as many as 10 men who raped their victim on June 29, while the others allegedly filmed the attacks with cellphone cameras.
‘All of the other males took turns having sex with victim against her will, which lasted through the early morning hours,’ according to an arrest affidavit.
The incident took place after the young girl ran away from an Austin, Texas, group home for children and got into a car with three unknown men, the affidavit states.
A third man, Donald Ray Lewis, 49, has now been arrested in connection with the incident, reports
Lewis is accused of assaulting the girl in a separate attack hours later, according to an arrest affidavit.
Investigators said the girl left the apartment where the initial gang rape took place and went to ‘smoke crack’ with a woman she just met at another nearby apartment on June 30.
Lewis met the unidentified victim at that apartment, the affidavit said.

The victim stayed at the second apartment for four days where she endured other assaults before leaving on July 2.
Doctors who examined the girl told investigators that their findings were consistent with her allegations.
The unidentified teen is currently in the care of the Texas Department of Family Protective Services.
Investigators found Ortega and Perez because one of them let the girl borrow their cellphone after dropping her off in a neighborhood and telling her to ‘find somewhere to go’, according to the court documents.
The victim called her foster brother, who refused to come pick her up, but his caller ID captured the number of the suspect’s phone.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials lodged immigration detainers against Ortega and Perez on July 18 following their arrests by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.
They remain held on $30,000 bond in Travis County Jail. Both are due back in court on Aug. 15.
An immigration detainer is a notice that means ICE intends to assume custody of individuals believed to be illegally residing in the country.
State child welfare investigators are also investigating the Settlement Home for Children, where the girl lived. The center reported the girl missing on June 30.
