Goodbye Marco. We finally got to know you. You may attempt to strut around the floor of the Senate in front o the C-Span camera, but you are as politically dead as Wendel Wilkie.

Another guy who believes that because he got elected to something he is an expert in everything. Sorry pal but we see right through you. You got caught trying to destroy this country. Bye bye Marco and take Paul Ryan with you.

You need to reconsider that statement. Ted Cruz is the man. He’s the real deal and that’s why the left and their cohorts in the media are already working to destroy him.

Rand Paul!! Only 56months to go!

First, Welcome to FR! Don't know what state you are from, but be sure to sign up on your state FR board for news of interest in your particular state. If you need any help in signing up on your state FR board, just FreepMail me and I will help you with easy directions.

We Floridians will be making sure Marco Rubio goes into retirement from Congress come 2014.

I ask you to really look into Rand Paul, his previous words as WELL as his actions! I do not trust Rand Paul because of my total distrust of his father, Ron Paul. I know for a fact that both Ron and Rand Paul are for open borders, weak military, and both have a hatred of Israel. Why do I know this? Their actions and their words.

I was on Capital Hill in front of the Cannon Building with a group of patriots in support of our Military and to bring attention to Obama’s Administration treatment of our military, Rules of Engagement etc. Just so happens that Susie Benjamin and 4 of her Code Pink followers showed up to publicly trash our troops! They, of course, did not soon became very disruptive. The Capital officials needed to ask them to leave due to not having a permit. Of course they would not, so had to be escorted away from the Cannon Building. While they were being escorted away, guess who showed up! Ron Paul, and he immediately saw the Code Pinko's being escorted away and waved to them and YELLED, “I am with you!”. I saw this and heard this and can direct you to other patriots who ALSO saw what happened.

Now that wasn't Rand Paul. And I hear folks saying all the time that Rand is not his father, is not LIKE his father and on and on. Well look into Rand's words and actions carefully. He often says things that sound good, but he agrees with his dad on issues I mentioned above. Beware!

Sorry about the “not”....they DID become very disruptive. If they had been nice, they probably would have gotten away with not having a permit to be there!

I don’t know if Jebbie is first there or not, but all one needs to do is hold up a picture of Jebbiee appointee Judge Nelson, and that should sink Jebbie, or is IA a Treyvon stronghold?

Odd that you mention Willkie, he actually died about six months before FDR. Did you know Nixon considered Willkie’s son for VPOTUS in 1960? Rubio, forget him; we never knew him.

Sen. Rand Paul leads with support from 18% of Republican voters. Following him are Gov. Chris Christie (16%), Rep. Paul Ryan (15%), former Gov. Jeb Bush (14%), Sen. Marco Rubio (11%), Sen. Ted Cruz (10%), former Sen. Rick Santorum (6%), Gov. Bobby Jindal (2%) and Gov. Susan Martinez (1%).

Not a lot of good news here what with Chris Christie at #2 and Jeb Bush as #4 and Ted Cruz behind Rubio at #6

Ah I think we’re so far out.. at this point I think it’s a name recognition thing.

Paul has drawn attention to some national issues. Drones, etc.

Name recognition is what wins primaries.

Yes, but the key issue here is that we haven't seen primary campaigns by any of these guys for 2016. The name recognition is skewed based upon current events. For example, Rubio's grandstanding with the Gang of 8 has given him media coverage that provides name recognition right now that more viable contenders for the GOP presidential nomination do not have because they are not in the media spotlight.

When the campaigns go full throttle, that's where the name recognition becomes important. Even then, a Senator Ted Cruz will tell you that name recognition (Dewhurst) isn't all that it is cracked up to be in the GOP primaries. More so in the general election.

It is Republicans. The Establishment Republicans hate Cruz more than the Democrats hate them.
