Ted be very careful.
Careful.
American jobs are being sent to China. A lot of Americans are in crisis.
While many conservatives are against government involvement in healthcare, there are quite a large number of us likewise, fed up with our healthcare as it stands, and ready for some guarantees.
I would not run with this issue.
Just saying.
(though I support everything else you’re doing)

____________
Exactly which “guarantees” in this massive tax bill do you want to keep for yourself and those of you who are “fed up with (your) healthcare as it stands”?
wow, that’s a stretch. Take ten minutes, research Sarah Palin, take a deep breath, and realize that China is not the problem with everything in your life you are unhappy about.
The feds taking over your body isn’t going to solve anything. What we need to do is go back to catastrophic insurance with high deductibles. Otherwise, insurance can never be affordable.
It ought to be de funded if for no other reason than for the abjectly underhanded and criminally corrupt way in which it was forced into effect.
THAT is enough to nullify ANY standing (if any at all) it MAY have had.
Tell me why would a thoroughly truthful and sincerely humane piece of legislation REQUIRE the kind and scope of subterfuge that was employed in passing THIS monstrosity?
It is a naked power grab by a bunch of VERY unprincipled and criminal thugs, whose concern for YOUR health is entirely incidental.
One of the problems is the SEVERE regulation on the medical community. For example, you remember the Job-fairs you went to in college, where they would hand out free stuff, right? Well, when doctors go to conferences, they have to itemize all their free-stuff and report it to the government. Moreover, insurances are likewise tied to the medical-regulations (they are also regulated) in things like mandatory health insurance laws in some places.
In order to get rid of government in medicine we also have to get rid of it in insurance. I have yet to see any real proposals for that.
Conservative? Really?
Conservatives don't look to government to guarantee goodies that they have no business being involved in in the first place.
The only guarantee I want from government regarding healthcare is that they'll get COMPLETELY out of it; no mandating to insurance companies what must be covered, no restrictions on selling insurance across state lines, nothing.
government is deeply involved as it stands-that is the problem
