Does Pope Francis want a Muslim Europe?

Pope Francis has chosen as his first papal visit the island of Lampedusa. This is an island belonging to Italy but close to the African coastline. It is where Muslim Africans seeking to enter Europe illegally head for.

In a sermon on Lampedusa, Pope Francis made it clear that he supports the migration of Muslims into Europe "on their voyage toward something better". He said,

I give a thought, too, to the dear Muslim immigrants that are beginning the fast of Ramadan, with best wishes for abundant spiritual fruits. The Church is near to you in the search for a more dignified life for yourselves and for your families. I say to you “O’ scia’!” [trans.: a friendly greeting in the local dialect].

This doesn't bode well for the Church under Pope Francis. First, it means that the Church is committing itself to a false and unorthodox understanding of solidarity. Second, it means that the Church is orienting itself toward fitting in with secular liberal modernity rather than standing against it.

The Church thrives in persecution. Except in where the Muslims are. They wipe it out. These days, with a little help/provocation from their American friends.

But, according to vatican.va, THIS is what Pope Francis said:
I also think with affection of those Muslim immigrants who this evening begin the fast of Ramadan, which I trust will bear abundant spiritual fruit. The Church is at your side as you seek a more dignified life for yourselves and your families. To all of you: o’scià!
Why is the Pope being misquoted?

There may be, in the vision of some of the “forward thinkers”, some future when there shall be a convergence of Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and all the other major and some of the minor religions of the world.

It took a thousand years to heal the rift with what was only a schism within the Christian doctrine, between the Roman and the Orthodox versions, and some five hundred years to heal the split between the Catholic church and the Protestants. And they all started out much closer together than ever Islam was to Judaism or Christianity.

Islam is preached as “superior” to all other religions, otherwise, why would they have so many confrontations against other faiths in military engagements? There might be some validity to the belief that “might makes right”, if they really DID win in battlefield encounters, but as soldiers, the legions of Allah are characterized by maniacal surges in combat, deceit when cornered, and treachery when negotiating with opponents.

And Israel has bested the legions of the Islamic horde in every engagement up to now, humbling them, often within a matter of a few days.

The Israelis have no great faith in the outcome of any negotiations with the Palestinians, but they have managed to maintain a status quo with most of the rest of their Islamic neighbors.

Why don’t they start by making their own lands better?

This pope has been a total disappointment.

He’s a socialist and a Muslim appeaser.

I thought the reason Benedict retired was so that they could install a younger pope with more energy to fight for the church.

At least Benedict tried to spread some truth about Islam before being silenced, as he quoted: "Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached".

Francis may be the precursor to the End Times, as he seems more interested in enabling the followers of Satan.

Whether or not he wants it, it is happening. The Vatican will be like the Patriarchate in Istanbul.

Thank you for contributing to the discussion.

This is not my blog, and other FR's have posted articles from OZ Conservative.

I present as evidence:

The Old Father

That Muslims and Christians peacefully co-existed in Central Europe from the 15th to 19th centuries would have been quite a surprise to those who actually lived back then.

To be fair, there are Muslims who are trying to escape Islam. Furthermore, a public figure saying something bad about Islam typically causes a thousand innocent people to be killed in less than 30 seconds.

Only an idiot speak out against Islam. We need to use BOMBS, not words against these vermin.

No, but he is totally ignorant of the true goals of the jihadis.
And they are NOT an Abrahamic religion worshiping the One True God.
He should read Spencer’s book comparing jihadism and Christianity.

Sadly, most other religions want to coexist and many no longer believe their faith is the only way to heaven. Moslems believe there is only one path, theirs. Many Christians including Catholics have become squishy on Christ being the one way to salvation. Like it or not. Guess which “religion” the NWO cabal will push as the One World Religion? The one whose adherents are certain they have the true religion. It’s not going to work, but the cabal will try and it will kill a lot of people. Reducing the surplus population.

—— Many Christians including Catholics have become squishy on Christ being the one way to salvation. ——

The Catholic position remains unchanged. Anyone who is saved, is saved through Christ. AND, non-Catholics can be saved.

These are not contradictory statements. A man, who in this life, does not attain explicit faith in Christ, THROUGH NO FAULT OF HIS OWN, MAY be saved, if he pursues truth and goodness to the best of his ability. In such a case, faith in Christ would be implicit.
