Computer forensics shows that IRS employee committed crime that calls for five years in prison

The National Organization for Marriage, a conservative organization, claims that it has forensic evidence which proves that its donors’ private information was illegally leaked by the IRS. The Blaze reports:

John Eastman, chairman of the National Organization for Marriage, accused the IRS of intentionally leaking confidential donor information to groups hostile to his organization.

“This just smells and I hope this committee gets to the bottom of it,” he said, adding that his group had “identified that [the leaked information] came from within the IRS.”

The National Organization for Marriage’s “forensic” specialists were able to strip layers from the document and discovered that “the original document that was posted had originated from within the IRS,” Eastman said.

He also said the document has “internal IRS stamps,” which “only exist within the IRS.”

“You can imagine our shock and disgust over this,” he added. “We jealously guard our donors.”

The Wall St. Journal says that if this is true, the IRS employee who illegally leaked this private information could get five years in prison.

If all of these claims are true, then this would be a great chance for President Obama to prove that he was serious, and not just saying empty words, when he said he was upset at the IRS. Is Obama willing to push for this person to get five years in prison? I doubt it. Hopefully, Obama will prove me wrong.

Every 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Council in California is on the IRS list because of the donation the Supreme Council made to NOM for Prop. 8.

Boehner needs to send a rocket directly to the White Hut about stuff this. This is grounds for defunding the IRS and removing it from Obamacare.

Nothing will happen until we have an opposition party. Boehner & McConnell have checked out for whatever reason.

King Obama will not do a damn thing except protect this IRS agent. It will take National Organization for Marriage and the donors to sue. It will take years and there will be no jail time but just a monetary judgment. Communists Democrats are exempt from the law as long as Holder and his magistracy makes the decisions.

In a rational world, the perps would be in jail, including those who expected them to do what they did.
This is not a rational world, and they will get away with it.

Did they ever prosecute the person who looked up private information on Joe the Plumber?

“If all of these claims are true, then this would be a great chance for President Obama to prove that he was serious, and not just saying empty words, when he said he was upset at the IRS...”

I can't be optimistic about this.

“O” never has or ever will PROVE anything to anyone! Period!

What would be a standard pre requisite for anyone ELSE in the WH, does not and never HAS applied to “O”.

Beginning WITH and in no way confined TO producing a credible COLB (which would not be a standing insult to the intelligence of American citizens) “O” has never been held to standards of any sort! Why ‘proof’ is expected NOW is beyond me!

What we have now in the WH is a culture and environment of unrestrained and wholesale political barbarism, the likes of which NO true American can be expected to tolerate and which we thought rejected when we expelled George III’s army from this country.

All necessary and objective standards went out the window the day “O” was nominated by the DNC.

“Barbarism is the absence of standards to which appeal can be made.” Ortega y Gasset

Absolutely correct. The Kenyan won’t do anything until Boehner turns the lights off at the White Hut.

A real opposition party would be laying out a case for a government shut down right now. Start by publicly documenting every bit of obstruction from Team Kenya. Demand that it stop now.

Then dictate what obama must do to correct the malfeasance of his admin.

If he doesn’t produce all the docs and give full cooperation from all witnesses, government shutdown. Lights out.

None of that will happen because Boehner has no interest in directly engaging the kenyan. In fact, he is terrified of the idea.

Eastman assumes that Congress really wants to “solve” this crime.

The documents would be replete with IRS agent names. People with families and mortgages. Unbearable pressure to implicate the perpetrator(s) could be put on each of them by congress or a grand jury.

Not holding my breath.

Boehner is running a debate club. Nothing is going to happen in Congress. They are dreaming (again) and thinking that voters will do the hard work for them.
