LIE of the WEEK! More Norquist Nasties!

Polls come and go, but consistently, when not using leading language, the American people....especially republicans......do NOT want the Cartel del Ocho AMNESTY!

But that doesn't stop Marco Rubio's main mouthpiece, Grover Norquist.

This traitor will stop at nothing!! How does any conservative still excuse Norquist? Now’s he’s working with gun grabber Mike Bloomberg. With Grover on the board of the NRA, how long before we see the 2nd Amendment sold out as well??

Keep in mind, this poll had a different outcome than ALL others! I’ve come to the conclusion Norquist, et al aren’t going after the ‘hispanic vote’ so much as they think they can peel off a percentage of liberals if they keep going left. The only 'republicans' supporting this nonsense are Turd Blossom Republicans!

Norquist Poll: 67 percent of Republicans support Senate “Gang of Eight” immigration bill Palm Beach Post Staff Writer April 25, 2013

According to poll sponsored by anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Partnership for a New American Economy, 67 percent of Republicans support the Senate “Gang of Eight” immigration bill and 61 percent of Republicans believe immigration reforms will improve the economy. Overall, 74 percent of Americans support the reforms, the groups said in a press release Thursday. “It’s clear that Americans across the country, including the overwhelmingly majority of Republicans, are fed up with an immigration system that is holding back our economy and hasn’t been updated since the age of black-and-white TVs,” said Bloomberg, co-chair of the Partnership for a New American Economy. “Our current immigration laws are no longer sustainable – especially when it comes to the needs of America’s 21st century economy – and people of all political stripes recognize that.” The poll, done in conjunction with the National Immigration Forum Action Fund, also found that lawmakers stand to gain support from their Republican constituents for backing immigration reform. “By a more than 4-1 margin, Republicans said they would have a more favorable opinion of their member of Congress rather than a less favorable opinion if they were to support the bipartisan Gang of Eight plan,” the groups said, as they try to nudge some conservative Republicans to support the legislation.

A Center for Immigration Studies poll using neutral language..April 5 * When we asked which of the two approaches they prefer, 82 percent of Republicans said they support reducing the illegal immigrant population, while just 12 percent said they support legalization with conditions.

Rasmussen also reports: Just 29% Support Immigration Plan Without Tougher Border Control AND THAT AIN'T the Gang of Eight mess! April, 2014

Poll: 66% of Democrats Want Border Secured Before Legalization April 24 A new poll from FoxNews finds that 66% of Democrats believe the border should be secured before the nation considers changes to its immigration policies. 75% of Republicans feel the same. Overall, 68% of voters believe securing the border should come before any moves towards legalization.

FYI...what Mike Cutler has to say about all this:

Hi Gang:

This morning, Saturday, April 27th, CNN’s program, “Your Money” hosted by CNN Anchor Christine Romans, aired a segment in which I debated a CNN contributor, Anna Navarro on the issue of whether the terror bombing of the Boston Marathon and additional crimes committed by the two Russian-born terrorists should lead to a reconsideration of the proposed legislation known as Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

Needless to say, I have been consistently opposed to this sort of massive amnesty program for a list of reasons, but first and foremost my concerns have centered on the way that such program would undermine America’s national security. It is outrageous that not only has Congress come up with the iill-conceived plan but that even in the wake of the terrorist attack in Boston by aliens who gamed the immigration system and were hardly “hiding in the shadows” that the “Eight Gangsters” continue to not only push for providing unknown millions of illegal aliens whose identities, backgrounds and intentions are unknown and unverifiable, but that they are actually attempting to use the bombing as justification for accelerating the push for this legislative nightmare and betrayal of American citizens and lawful immigrants!

It is outrageous that the advocates for “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” are ignoring the fact that each year the United States admits more than 1.1 million lawful immigrants into the United States and that these lawful immigrants are, upon the day of their admission into the United States or on the day that they are granted lawful immigrant status that they are immediately placed on the pathway to United States citizenship.

The number of lawful immigrants that the United States admits each year is greater than the total number of immigrants admitted by all of the other countries of the world combined!

The advocates are also forgetting that the immigration laws that these unknown millions of illegal aliens violated were enacted to achieve two primary goals- protect innocent lives and the jobs of American workers. Sight unseen, advocates would provide these illegal aliens with lawful status, official identity documents and a pathway to United States citizenship!

In case you missed Christine’s program this morning, it will again air tomorrow, Sunday, April 28th at 3:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time or you can check it out online. Here is the link:

http://yourmoney.blogs.cnn.com/2013/04/26/boston-bombings-threaten-immigration-reform/

The lack of integrity to the immigration system, as I have documented in numerous commentaries and have provided testimony to numerous Congressional hearings and in my testimony for the 9/11 Commission prompted me, in 2007, to write an Op-Ed for the Washington Times in which I stated that Comprehensive Immigration Reform should be given a new and more accurate and honest name. I recommended that it be called the “Terrorist Assistance and Facilitation Act!”

Senator Sessions showed his agreement with my position and concerns by quoting me from the floor of the United States Senate during the contentious floor debates back then, on three separate days.

Today’s “new and improved” version of “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” would provide many more aliens with lawful status- without even face-to-face interviews and with no resources to investigate suspected immigration fraud.

The 9/11 Commission cited immigration fraud and visa fraud as being essential tools of terrorists- and not only the terrorists who attacked the United States on September 11, 2001, but on prior instances as well.

Immigration is not a single issue but a singular issue that impacts nearly every challenge and threat confronting the United States today! Simply stated, the immigration laws were enacted to save lives and protect the jobs of American workers.

Our armed forces are charged with securing America’s borders externally while the DHS is supposed to secure those same borders from within. The failures of the DHS to live up to its half of the equation are undermining the efforts, valor and incredible sacrifices of Americas men and women who serve in our military!

If our government’s failures to protect American jobs by securing our nation’s borders and effectively enforcing our immigration laws concerns you or especially if it angers you, I ask you to call your Senators and Congressional “Representative. This is not only your right- it is your obligation!

All I ask is that you make it clear to our politicians that we are not as dumb as they hope we are!

We live in a perilous world and in a perilous era. The survival of our nation and the lives of our citizens hang in the balance.

This is neither a Conservative issue, nor is it a Liberal issue- simply stated, this is most certainly an AMERICAN issue!

You are either part of the solution or you are a part of the problem!

Democracy is not a spectator sport!

Lead, follow or get out of the way!

Norquist again! He was complaining days ago about radio hosts. He IS the propaganda machine of this amnesty. He’s Rubio’s mouthpiece. AS much as he’s insulted conservatives as being ‘islamaphobic’, racist, etc. you’d think he wouldn’t care how we poll! Maybe he doesn’t! Evoking Regan’s name to pull of this scam is the worst of it.

[snip]The first target were anti-illegals groups like CIS and FAIR which were smeared as eugenicists. But the next set of targets is even bigger.

Norquist says that he’s trying to counteract the effect of “a handful of radio talk-show hosts who talk loudly.”

“The bitter-enders who are still responding to radio talk-show hosts from eight years ago haven’t noticed that the world has shifted from underneath them,” he says.

http://frontpagemag.com/2013/dgreenfield/grover-norquist-goes-after-heritage-foundation-over-illegal-alien-amnesty/

April 10th.

[snip]After the conference ended, Norquist predicted the Gang of Eight would succeed, arguing that opponents like Sessions and Vitter, who sunk the last immigration bill in 2007, have been marginalized.

Restrictionists, Norquist said, are people who merely “think of themselves as conservatives.”

“If you’re a Republican, you look at the business community wants it, the religious community wants it,” he told reporters. “Who is the opposition? Who in the modern Reagan Republican Party is a no?”

Another pro amnesty article mentions:

““We know the opposition is going to throw the kitchen sink at us, and we wanted to make sure we tested that kitchen sink,” said Ali Noorani, executive director of the National Immigration Forum, one of the survey’s sponsors. “Republicans and Democrats on the Hill have a real opening and opportunity to fix our immigration system.”

Noorani and another backer of the poll, Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform, rejected the criticism that the legislation was written to boost special interests. “If there are areas where there’s lack of fairness or need to make something general as oppose to specific, that can happen on floor of the Senate,” Norquist said. “It’s not like we put this together last night and you don’t have time to read it.” (Lying comes SO easily to this man!)

There’s another public figure named “Grover”.

There’s the ersatz “conservative” one cited here who is a good bud of one Newt Gingrich and the other, intelligent one, on Sesame Street who was NOT married to a muzzie woman.

Where is the Conservative bus we need to toss Norquist, McCain, and now, maybe even Rubio under? It wouldn’t have to be as big as the Dem bus. It could even be an old Greyhound bus from the 50’s. But we need one, and Norquist should be under it, post haste. Republicans aren’t smart enough to see the suddenness of these shifts in loyalty by politicos who once had Conservative airs about them. But you can see it happening, and Rubio is the absolutely classic example. From solid, vibrant, aspiring (and definitely needed) Conservative-—to sellout traitor over one issue. We need a ritual drum-out.

Norquist has to go. He is done.

I usually get beat down when I dare mention Newt was a good buddy of Grover...usually associated in the same 'non profit' think tanks...both (along with Conda) signed the WSJ letter to promote the Bush amnesty.

Newt Gingrich describes Norquist as "...the most creative and most effective conservative activist in the country."

I can't wait to say GOODBYE! to Grover!

Has anyone else noticed how many Black Americans are FED UP with illegal immigration lately? The 'non-citizen' constituency seems to be the only one the GOPe is interested in lately.

A missed article:

Heckler: Grover Norquist ‘scum’
http://www.politico.com/story/2013/04/heckler-grover-norquist-scum-89750.html

[snip]Americans for Tax Reform Chairman Grover Norquist came to New Jersey Avenue on Monday to talk about the intersection of immigration reform and overhauling the criminal justice system. But his reputation preceded him.

While Norquist was talking outside with reporters after the event, a passer-by called him “scum.”

Inside the event, Norquist took repeated shots at right-wing talk show hosts, arguing increased support from the business community and from Christian groups would be enough for comprehensive immigration reform to overcome the radio-fueled opposition that sunk a 2007 bill.

“If you’re a Republican congressman or senator, who is your constituency?” Norquist said at the event, which was hosted by Human Rights First. “Radio talk show hosts? Or the guys who go to church and the guys who have jobs?”

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), part of the Gang of Eight working on a bipartisan immigration bill, has made wooing conservative talk show hosts like Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh, a priority. Norquist, without mentioning Rubio, predicted the right-wing backlash would be less severe this time around.

“The number of radio talk show hosts on the annoying side of that issue has decreased in numbers and in tone,” he said.

The event was dedicated to reforming the immigration detention system, which critics charge has become bloated and unfair. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement detains over 400,00 immigrants at any one time, at a cost of $2 billion. Norquist said reforming the system could help advance two conservative goals: shrinking government by rolling back mass incarceration and allowing a fairer immigration system that would boost the economy.

Norquist has long backed immigration reform, including a pathway to citizenship.

Some interesting comments here:
“The only good thing about Grover Norquist is he’s named after a character from Sesame Street,” former Pres. George W. Bush adviser Matthew Dowd, in an interview with ABC’s “This Week;” Nov. 25, 2012.

“Who the hell is Grover Norquist anyway?” former Pres. George H. W. Bush quipped to Parade magazine in July.

AND about this line of Norquists: ““The number of radio talk show hosts on the annoying side of that issue has decreased in numbers and in tone,” he said.:

The liars are running out of lies, they have to keep repeating the same old lies with a dab of lipstick and rouge here and there. lol

In a way it is a good thing to see old Grover Norquist *coming out of the shadows*. He is becoming more of a public figure in regards to amnesty which means there will be a backlash against him. Keep doing what you’re doing Grover, you’re making more enemies every day.
