‘SHE’S NOW OR NEVER’ FOUNDER MENNE TALIVA’A HALL RUNS IN NORTH SHORE MARATHON

(Honolulu, HAWAI'I)--She’s running to fight obesity, diabetes and heart disease. She’s running for her family.

“I run for change!” exclaims Menne Taliva’a Hall, founder of a health and wellness sisterhood and Blog called ‘She’s Now or Never’ or SNN. "My quest to run marathons is a demonstration to prove that change is possible! I leave footprints in honor of family and friends that have passed on and for those that I love dearly."

After shedding 150 pounds and finishing more than 20 half-marathons, Hall – blogger and owner of shesnowornever.com, based in California – takes on her very first full marathon this morning on the North Shore of O’ahu.

I lost 12 pounds in a couple of weeks because I had a really bad flu, and I was quite happy with that. So I weighed myself today and I gained six. Maybe water weight? Dunno, but it sure is easy to gain weight.

Oh, and I’m definitely going to check out how she lost that weight. Hopefully the answer isn’t “exercise.”

Sorry to say, but based on what she’s set as her goals - exercise it is.

I totally agree with you. Eggs are sides for Bacon. BACON.

I love bacon. Too much. It borders on insanity. It is probably very unhealthy. Emotionally - separation from bacon causes anxiety.

I also have feelings for eggs.

That being said, a good steak always wins.
