Saul Alynsky taught that the citizens of USA probably won’t let go of the old system until they are in such despair that they have no choice but to grab for the new system. The old system has been the exceptionally successful free market system and the new systemm is the not so new, and always failed system of Marxism. When the people are in dispair, they might lash out at those who planned and caused it. Thus ammo, UAV’s and MRAP’s for the Marxists.

So they need over a billion rounds of ammo for “practice”...??

They could practice a million rounds a day for a thousand days... anyone see them practicing that much?

And when you practice, you use cheap wad-cutters - not expensive hollow points.

wtf-ingf????

...we think there are millions of people in this country who have no clue about what Obama is doing to America. They are too self-absorbed to care. But Obama knows that when the house of cards collapses they will react and it will not likely be to congratulate him. So he needs protection. That is why he has ordered the stockpiling of so much ammunition.

Who's he going to get to fire all those rounds?

Well said. With our deficit, why buy so many expensive rounds?

1. When the economy collapses.
2. When the gun confiscation starts.
3. When Obamacare gets rolling and people start dying from the rationing and wake up to what we have there.

It could be any of these three or all.

One thing is for damned sure It is for use against Americans, and not for target practice.

We think Obama despises American exceptionalism and he has been determined for years to “cut America down to size.”

Yup.

Hits the nail right on the head.

Once the SHTF, he plans to declare martial law; establish himself as President for Life; then order America’s Gestapo, the DHS, to begin confiscating arms and rounding up Americans for the gulag.

Or simple execution.

And he knows that Americans, by and large, are too absorbed with their bread and circuses to care.

He knows, too, that America’s Ministry of Propaganda, otherwise known as the news media, will fall right into line and defend the whole thing on some specious pretext or other.

The final and ultimate irony is that Americans voted for it, and he’s not even a naturalized citizen and was never eligible to be president.

Andrew Malcolm wrote Feb. 8 for Investors.com: “In a puzzling, unexplained development, the Obama administration has been buying and storing vast amounts of ammunition in recent months, with the Department of Homeland Security just placing another order for an additional 21.6 million rounds.

...approximately 238 years ago in Richmond, Virginia, Patrick Henry was speaking:

I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided; and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past. And judging by the past, I wish to know what there has been in the conduct of the British ministry for the last ten years, to justify those hopes with which gentlemen have been pleased to solace themselves, and the House? Is it that insidious smile with which our petition has been lately received? Trust it not, sir; it will prove a snare to your feet. Suffer not yourselves to be betrayed with a kiss. Ask yourselves how this gracious reception of our petition comports with these war-like preparations which cover our waters and darken our land. Are fleets and armies necessary to a work of love and reconciliation? Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled, that force must be called in to win back our love? Let us not deceive ourselves, sir. These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which kings resort. I ask, gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission? Can gentlemen assign any other possible motive for it? Has Great Britain any enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all this accumulation of navies and armies? No, sir, she has none. They are meant for us; they can be meant for no other. They are sent over to bind and rivet upon us those chains which the British ministry have been so long forging.(more)

Those who put little barry abstard boy in power have told their servants to prepare for the date certain when the collapse starts. This tells the vermin rulers that resupply will be impossible once the collapse arrives, so they buy what they think they will need to protect the oligarchs as we the people die off in the millions due to starvation, chaos, murder, and mayhem. The oligarchs already have their refuges arranged and stocked, and ammo was one of the supplies they required.

Cloward-Piven—overwhelm and collapse the system, create chaos and violence, and then come in and remake the system according to your desires. Pure Alinsky. That’s been Obama’s plan all along.

From discoverthenetworks.org:

First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven (both longtime members of the Democratic Socialists of America, where Piven today is an honorary chair), the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Inspired by the August 1965 riots in the black district of Watts in Los Angeles (which erupted after police had used batons to subdue a black man suspected of drunk driving), Cloward and Piven published an article titled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty” in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation. Following its publication, The Nation sold an unprecedented 30,000 reprints. Activists were abuzz over the so-called “crisis strategy” or “Cloward-Piven Strategy,” as it came to be called. Many were eager to put it into effect.

In their 1966 article, Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor; that by providing a social safety net, the rich doused the fires of rebellion. Poor people can advance only when “the rest of society is afraid of them,” Cloward told The New York Times on September 27, 1970. Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation; poor people would rise in revolt; only then would “the rest of society” accept their demands.

The key to sparking this rebellion would be to expose the inadequacy of the welfare state. Cloward-Piven’s early promoters cited radical organizer Saul Alinsky as their inspiration. “Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules,” Alinsky wrote in his 1972 book Rules for Radicals. When pressed to honor every word of every law and statute, every Judaeo-Christian moral tenet, and every implicit promise of the liberal social contract, human agencies inevitably fall short. The system’s failure to “live up” to its rule book can then be used to discredit it altogether, and to replace the capitalist “rule book” with a socialist one.

Palin isn't saying anything that the rest of us haven't known for a long time, so no kudo's are deserved. We've known the government has been buying up ammunition. Even I - a simple homemaker - posted long ago that they didn't have to take our guns because they can simply control the supply of ammunition!

For several years a mystery company has been buying up firearms manufacturers through an outfit called the Freedom Group, and now we hear that the government is buying thousands of light armored tank vehicles for in the streets of the USA!

And then, of course, there is Obama's Army;

On July 2nd, 2008 Obama said; “We must have a civilian national security force just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded”...[as our military] We were warned then!

Sadly, it isn’t a fact.

Contracts to authorize the purchase of Ammo are not the same as contracts FOR purchase of Ammo.

Government will sign contracts which offer “up to” some amount of an item, or a period of time. The business is guaranteeing that they can meet up to that amount of demand.

Then, the government will do purchase orders as needed, under the contract.

So, if you read that the feds bought 450 million bullets, what REALLY happened is that they signed a contract to purchase UP TO 450 million bullets, over the next 5 years, at a certain price.

They have locked in a price, in case ammo gets more expensive, and locked in a supply, in case it gets scarce.

There is probably a minimum purchase requirement in the contract, and a limit per year, and other details.

But at the moment they signed the contract, they didn’t have one more bullet than they had earlier.

It’s a great story, fun to talk about, but it’s time we went back to serious problems.

Like why every agency of the government has a law enforcement division.

I see no reason for him to condemn the constitution, build and arm a domestic army, hire military guards for domestic internment camps and classify political and social opponents to communism and global government as domestic terrorists, unless he’s planning to act domestically.

He’s set up war in the Middle East by putting radical Islam in power and funding them. Russia has promised if we attack Iran, they will nuke the US and Obama is making noises about attacking Iran. He’s left our borders wide open and imported a bunch of radical Islamists.

So, his domestic army is probably his plan for rule after we are nuked by his pals, the Russians. Or for economic collapse after he lights the bomb he’s laid in the Middle East.
