Free Republic is an activist site for Conservatives. It always has been. It is a gathering and networking site.
There are plenty of places to argue with liberals and Rinos. FR is not one of them.

See, FR is a CONSERVATIVE site. This means we don’t want to hear from you if you’re a Paultard. We’re not interested in alternate views about homosexual “marriage”, gun control, soaking the so-called rich, amnesty for illegal alien criminals, and all the rest that Tokyo Rove and his sycophants push on us on a daily basis. If we wanted that, we’d all watch Bill O’Reilly on the FOX Neocon Channel (FNC).
I appreciate your concern and admire your enthusiasm, but speaking for myself, I don’t want or need any other viewpoints. Conservatism is right and everything else is total crap that should be mocked mercilessly.
I’ve been on FR since the Stone Age. A lot of long time Freepers kept their same handles and they’re on True Blue.
I don’t like True Blue because of the liberal idiots over there.
Some were banned, but many just didn’t like the group think.
I was thinking about him the other day. I suspected he also hung out at another site that was Libertarian leaning. Miss his posts.
Cry me a river about JR banning people promoting abortion and faggotry. The internet is full of forums where people can promote that stuff all day long, and I’m glad there is at least one little corner where we can get away from it.
