There's a few I miss who have left this mortal coil (kattracks and CHIEF Negotiator, for example) but not any who left because they wanted to "moderate" (ie., sacrifice) genuine conservative principles. This site manages to keep refreshing itself with new blood while maintaining plenty of veterans to sniff out the trolls and it's all good.

Oh, thank you for mentioning Parsifal. I have no answer on what happened to him, but was doggedly reading through all the posts in this thread, hoping somehow he would come up. I always thought he came across as gentle and good-natured.

I think I got on Allegra's bad side early on by disagreeing with her about something. From that point on, she'd lock horns with me any time I spoke to her. Got so I just wouldn't respond to anything she said. It just wasn't worth the grief.
