Another outstanding read from the “Sultan”
Yup! Tis really brilliant.
I found it a bit derivative - Inner Party, Outer Party, Proles - been done before.

It’s almost like we’re living in a prequel to Orwell’s world in 1984. All we need now is for the one-party system to officially consolidate itself, and off we go.
Well, isn't the truth derivative by its very nature. History repeating itself is derivative.

Excellent piece. However, looking ahead, when the democratic aspect of the Party is only a formality, and the ghetto votes are no longer needed, they could be attacked too. The Party would be pretty much indifferent if they wreck their own neighborhoods, but they still want assimilation, French Revolution/Bolshevik style. Urban ghettos encircled and starved. By that time, however, the mask will be dropped, and the Party Enforcers (including some who are “The People”) will simply be bribed to not enforce.
In another Orwell book, “Animal Farm”, the pigs take control only because the dogs were willing to do the pigs bidding, and the horses were too stupid know what was going on.

Wow..that is a whole new way of looking at the situation.
And, now that he describes the scenario, I can see it happening.
Great article, but this last sentiment, without evidence of its veracity, is a little saccharine. The Party has such control of the voting outcomes that any perceived rise in People's rejection of the Party will be laughingly crushed.
When a shell of a man, a choom gang toker, and affirmative action, sans-merit poser like Barry Soetero can become and retain the Presidency, the fix is in to the hilt.

That’s a fact.
All the is required is a lust for power, feuled by greed, envy and any false justification why someone elese owes you a lifestyle...plus not caring who gets rolled over in the process...and you will fit right in nicely with the new world disorder.
I felt as if Winston Smith were the writer.
Basically, what he is saying is that the Ghetto is the equivalent of the “patriotic citizenry” during the French Revolution.
The “Party” and the “People” will both be treated equally by the “Ghetto”. And the equal treatment will involve the guillotine, or something like it.
The thing is...most of the “People” don’t see it coming and will be shocked and surprised.
And the “Party” will be equally shocked and surprised, though for different reasons. The “Party” thinks they will be in charge of the “Ghetto”, and it will be a rude awakening.
Excellent.
What is not derivative?
I wonder how many people have never heard this before? For those that have, repetition and restatement reinforce understanding.
