Require ALL employers to use E-Verify, and fine or sue employers who do not.
When illegal immigrants discover they can't find work, they will “self-deport” and return to their home country.

The author of this article is full of it. While it’s true there’s lots of jobs Americans won’t do, it’s also true there’s lots of jobs illegals do that legal immigrants or guest workers from other countries will do. The idea that if illegal immigrants aren’t doing all those dirty jobs then nobody else will fill the void is ludicrous. A very large percentage of the jobs they do can be done by Americans, and the rest can be done by LEGAL!! workers from other countries.
And a lot of those jobs that Americans used to do were stolen by the illegals. I’ve seen it in the construction industry with many of my friends.
Not only should any business be heavily filed for hiring illegals, ever susy homemaker and harry homeowner as well.
And then you get moron journalists posting things about how the "right wing" has some psychological "inferiority" issues and is being "led" when we are angry with our government for selective enforcement of our laws (different thread, but I'm STILL angry about it).
Secure the border. Enforce the law. And the problem will resolve itself relatively humanely over the course of a very few years. People will self-deport as it becomes harder and harder to find work. Some few will manage to legalize themselves by one means or other. Others will bump into law enforcement and be deported directly.
The point is, though, that the problem is unsolveable as long as the border remains unsecured, and as long as the law is not actively enforced. And it is highly solveable once you take the problem seriously. Statistics show that, as the economy has stagnated, people have indeed deported themselves.
There will always be a few difficult cases but those will be a lot easier to deal with once the massive inflow has stopped.
High unemployment and they want to make them legal. Being legal means a legal wage, right?
Rubio has been adopted by the Bush family just like Bill Clinton. Not good for America.

The estimate is even less the “12 million illegal aliens in the US” head count has been the standard since the Clinton Administration since about 1996 and has been unchanged since that time despite and estimated 1-2 million illegals entering the US over the last 15 years since then.
It’s more like 12 million in 1996 plus another 20 - 30 million more since then for a total of 30-45 million illegals residing in the borders of the US.
I find it kind of racist that people living in this country are willing to accept illegal immigration because they are too good to clean their own toilets.
The idea that cheap labor is good for America should have been settled by the Civil War. He didn't "try", Ike SUCCEEDED in deporting 1.5 million illegals. And they did not "come back" until LBJ trashed the border patrol and immigration controls in the late 60s.
That's for sure! However they can be deported. They can be verified, hassled, expelled and arrested. They can be denied services, school enrollment and drivers licenses. It only takes the will to do so.
Eliminate ALL types of welfare unless all members in a house can prove they are Legal Immigrants or Citizens of the US.
Seize all vehicles from ILLEGAL ALIENS. Have them checked for any mechanical issue and if any are found, repair them at local High Schools or Vo-Tech Centers, if found to be unrepairable, scrap them for the good parts. Take the good running vehicles and use them a bonuses for those that repaired them or to people that work in the positions that supposedly American won't do. As a kid, if I found a job that would pay me minimum wage to pick vegetables for the summer and at the end of the summer I got a vehicle as a bonus, I would have done that work gladly.
Eliminate school programs that seem to me to encourage the problem. This would be things like English as a Second Language. My family immigrated from all over Europe though Ellis Island, well the ones the immigrated after it was built and the United States were formed, they all learned English as they knew they could not advance and most likely not survive if they did not. Eliminate instate tuition for ILLEAGL ALIENS, if a US Citizen has to pay a higher out-of-state tuition, then a ILLEGAL ALIEN should have to pay a minimum of 2.5 times the out-of-state tution rate.
Eliminate the automatic citizenship for infants born in this country from ILLEGAL ALIENS. There is a law that requires hospitals to provide service to anyone, so lets provide that service at the level that our U.S. Troops have had to endure. Set up a M.A.S.H. type hospital, with tents for the operating arena and the patient care/bedding area. Immediately deport both the child and mother back to the country of origin. If an ILLEGAL ALIEN gets on a waiting list for an organ transplant, put them at the bottom. If a US Citizen needs that same type of transplant, the US Citizens jumps over the ILLEGAL ALIEN.
Require tax payer information for all money transfers to high immigration countries that occur generally occur from the ATM type system's and also from unverifiable banking accounts. Have the transfer system automatically deduct All applicable taxes from the amount being transferred, this would include all type of Federal and State taxes. Since the yearly wage for the sender cannot be verified at the time of the transfer, deduct the taxes at the maximum rate that in in force. Issue a receipt with the Tax amounts detailed and clearly printed on it. At the end of the year when the required Tax returns are filed these receipts would be used to file the returns with along with any legitimate tax forms (W-2s, 1099s...). Audit all returns with duplicate information to determine if identity theft has occurred and if it has accept the return from the US citizen and send a audit notification to all others using the same information. If the return is deemed valid from the transfer receipts then issue a return for any amounts withdrawn that exceed the tax rates plus a 10% bonus, if the information is deemed invalid use the funds to further enhance the border and enforcement of immigration laws.
Sorry about the long rant, but this morning I was rear ended in my truck from a POS chevy car, which of the 3 people in it, none could speak English, the driver did not have insurance and the license plate on the CAR was from a FARM TRUCK. The officer that showed up stated it was too difficult to try to prosecute them, so he just let them go. Luckily for me the car took way more damage than my truck did.

I can buy into the 12 million number in the 1990’s . If you look at the massive increase in illegal’s presence in our country since then not credible.
The Border Patrol caught and turned away about 750,000 people per year in the 70 mile wide Nogales sector of the border alone. The estimated that they intercepted 1 in 5 border crossers.
That implies about 2 million made it across per year in the Nogales sector alone.
Multiply that by 15 years and see what you get.
The total is more like 30-45 million which is consistent with the increased nationwide presence we have seen in the last 10-15 years.
This 11 million people number more of a low ball propaganda number that is large enough for action to be taken but small enough so it does not allow current US Citizens to realize that they will be politically swamped by illiterate illegals who have third world voting habits and no stake in our country.. .
Once illegals have the right legal right to vote themselves benefits and entitlements.

Both men need these skills to better do their jobs in their home country.

I hear ya. I have friends overseas who would love to come here and work, even at “menial” jobs. But no, I’d have to go thru scores of red tape and time delays and then probably get denied anyway. Additionally, the census numbers of population decline in Mexico also support the number of 16-20 million Mexicans moving to El Norte illegally.
Similar demographics in South and Central America support another 10 million of their collective populations moving to the US illegally.
SO figure 12 million here in 1996 plus 16-20 million Mexicans plus another 10 million Non Mexican South and Central Americans and you get an easy 30 - 40 million illegals in the US.
This is consistent with what we see in our new Press 1 for Spanish, Press 2 for English culture in the US.
Arrest all illegals, seize all property they possess and deport them.
