Actually I think the approach that the French and Algerians used was exactly correct (though perhaps lacking in finesse). These militant yobs keep trying to use civilians as shields. When they understand that such a maneuver will not keep them alive then maybe they will change their tactics. If the thugs don’t change tactics it is a case of oh well too bad so sorry you were there. Until we start fighting and killing these useless jerks we will continue to have this nonsense going on
