In America, we are about to experience the most sweeping, restrictive gun control legislation ever enacted since the second amendment was written. So, where do we draw the line? When do we stand up and boldly proclaim: Enough is Enough?
Since the first inauguration of Obama in 2008, the average American citizen has witnessed an onslaught of restrictions to their freedoms emanating from the Office of the Executive. There has been the debt incurred through the Quantitative Easing Programs, the restrictions to our freedom of speech on the internet and the violations to our freedom of religion through the recent health care provisions, placed on employers and the Judeo-Christian Church. These are just the proverbial.. tips of the iceberg.

Sounds interesting. What does the rest say?
Ignore Br0nc0 and prepare for the Waco-like FBI/BATFE/HLS riot in your front yard.
If were going to have universal background checks on virtually everybody who buys a gun, you think maybe its time to require a background check on anybody wanting to be president?” Rush Limbaugh
Idiot Bill Oriley on Fox tonight went on a rant about how he was for a universal gun registration. Idiot indeed, registration is the first step toward confiscation. What a dolt.
Federalization of this is where the danger is. The states can administer this, but the Fed Bureaucraps will murder freedom in the apparent pursuit of safety.
Obummer better buy a gun- oops I forgot- he can`t.
Lotsa things he ‘can’t do’, but he did them anyway and has paid no price for any of them.
The thing to do now is to start your own little campaigns of exactly WHO is employed at your local PD and who has homesteaded their homes. WHO is in your area that is of any enforcement arm of any level of government. Get a lawyer and get their addresses; after all, these people have access to yours. Start sending mail. Nothing threatening please. Just that you wanted to say hello. I am not saying every LEO is gonna go jack boot; I still believe most will side with the rights of the citizen; we can truly be their greatest ally and support them. But for the ones that want to get all Dredd "I am the law", well, I leave it to you what kind of American asymmetrical warfare should be waged in your area.
Positing this sucks, to be sure, but it is where we are at. There are still a TON of good LEO's, don't fall for the cop shoots dog crap posted here a FR. America is a BIG place and we have great men and women wearing the badge. Partner up NOW, figure out who is who and don't wait for anything to even reach your front lawn; let them know who you are and where you stand. There is nothing wrong in that and you don't have to divulge much to find that common ground.
Now, to the dirtbag politicians and bureaucrats grifting? Just take address' and send seasonal "happy holidays" cards signed molon labe.
Mr. Obama’s first inauguration was in 2009, not 2008. Is the rest of the article off-kilter, too?
What's that supposed to mean? Are the stories made up? People here don't like the idea of armed, unionized agents of the government shooting their beloved pets. It happens all the time. What you see posted here is the tip of the iceberg.

I think that is poor advice. Personally, I want nothing to do with the police. They work for the government, not you. Way too many bad actors to place such trust in them, IMO.
Maybe you're right and I'm wrong. How about we see whether police in NY refuse to enforce the new anti-RKBA laws. If they do refuse, I'll concede the argument. If they do enforce them, will you concede my point?
What about those who are in the LO profession and are also part of the organization called “Oath Keepers” ?
Plus also be careful what is posted on the internet. Some stuff is simply is made up.
