Harvard University has posted a verse of the Holy Quran at the entrance of its faculty of law, describing the verse as one of the greatest expressions for justice in history, a Saudi newspaper reported on Sunday.
Verse 135 of Sura Al Nisa (women chapter) has been posted at a wall facing the facultys main entrance, dedicated to the best phrases said about justice.
A Saudi student who studies at Harvad published a picture of the poster in his Twitter page, according to the Saudi Arabic language daily Ajel.
I noticed that the verse was posted by the faculty of law, which described it as one of the greatest expressions for justice in history, Abdullah Jumma said.

The article never actually quotes the verse in full. At the site there’s a picture containing part of the verse but not all of it. Kind of hard to really discuss without knowing what it says. Other that to observe that Harvard is a bunch of jihadi apologists.
As Bill Clinton might say, it depends what you mean by "justice."
Allah's version of justice won't stand much looking into. It might be briefly summed up as, "What I say, goes! So shut up and submit!"
I can remember a time when we despised regimes that encouraged children to rat out their parents.
Isn’t it amazing a leftist group that hates God would promote a religion telling you to put their God above all else as the measure of justice.
Harvard is practically wholly-owned by the Saudis (along with Georgetown).
Oh, that’s SO five minutes ago.
You are seeing a marker on the path paved to hell.
Their complete hatred for Christianity as the religion of the White “oppressors” has clouded their limited powers of reasoning, and allowed them to promote a middle eastern death cult that promotes rape and murder.
I wonder if the gay-loving lefties in Hollyweird know what is in store for the homosexuals under Islam?
What is the punishment for that again?
Unless, of course, you are ‘punishing’ an offender of Islam then you are allowed to have rape sex with a man (but it doesn’t make you a homo too!, no sireee.. or sex with boys)
4:135 O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to god, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be rich or poor, for god can best protect both. Follow not the lusts lest you swerve, and if you distort or decline to do justice, verily God is well-acquainted with all that you do.
4:136 O you who believe! Believe in god and his apostle, and the scripture which he has sent to his apostle and the scripture which he sent to those before. Any who deny god, his angels, his Books, his apostles, and the day of judgment, have gone far, far astray.
Personally, I have trouble seeing what Harvard Law sees in this that is worth celebrating, other than another chance to pretend that diversity is a positive for its own sake. What matters is right and wrong, not whether those decisions, actions, and values come from a European-based culture, an African one, or a South American one.
I think they meant "Un-Holy Quran"
That's the problem us Infidels have with Muslims.
If they actually believe there is only one God(Allah) and Muhammed is HIS prophet; what choice do they have but to subjugate , convert or kill us Infidels who do not believe that? - Tom
With some 17,000 Puritans migrating to New England by 1636, Harvard was founded by ministers who realized the need for training clergy for the new commonwealth, a “church in the wilderness.” It was named for John Harvard, its first benefactor. It received its corporate charter in 1650 and became a university in 1780...
...n 1692, the leading Puritan divine Increase Mather became president of Harvard. One of his acts was replacing pagan classics with books by Christian authors in ethics classes, and maintaining a high standard of discipline. The Harvard “Lawes” of 1642 and the “Harvard College Laws of 1700” testify to its original high level of discipline. Students were required to observe rules of pious decorum inconceivable in the 19th century, and ultimately to prove their fitness for the bachelor’s degree by showing that they could ‘read the original of the Old and New Testament into the Latin tongue, and resolve them logically.’
During Harvard’s early years the town of Cambridge maintained order on campus and provided economic support; the local Puritan minister had direct oversight of Harvard and ensured the orthodoxy of the its leadership. By 1700 Harvard was strong enough to regulate and discipline its own people, and to a large extent the direction in which support and assistance was reversed, Harvard now providing financial support for local economic expansion, improvements to public health, and construction of local roads, meetinghouses, schools.
The early motto of Harvard was Veritas Christo et Ecclesiae, meaning “Truth for Christ and the Church.” In the early classes half the graduates became ministers. By the 1760s the proportion was down to 15%. Ten out of the first twelve presidents were also ministers. Systematic theological instruction was inaugurated in 1721 and by 1827 Harvard became a nucleus of theological teaching in New England.
Well, there goes the “preferential option for the poor!”
I hereby declare myself to be offended.
I claim victim status.
This is hate speech and I am sure the University will not tolerate it.
