By the way, the number in the title is how many seconds are in 4 years, 2008-2012 has been a fantastic voyage for the good general.

Colin Powell is a dishonest man. I encourage Mr. Powell to review God’s 9th Commandment.
Please note the irony of Powell collectively besmirching a whole group of people, accusing them of something he himself just did!

One doesn’t attain the rank he did without being one.
Anyone with any kind of military background knows this.
So, now he’s retired and letting his true colors fly.

It shows how bright or honest he is, he is trying to out lie Obama.
So Republicans are intolerant of lazy politicians and misogynists who attack Republican women. Is there something wrong with that?
So a black guy spends the greater portion of his life, and makes his entire career espousing Republican values (not necessarily conservative) and then does a complete 180 on those values so he can support another black guy and WE are the racists?
How? Beats the hell out of a lot of us. I never thought much of him before the Gulf War. Everything I read about him indicated that he was an affirmative action promotee of which I had observed many through the 80s and 90s. When the press began to refer to him as the “hero of the Gulf War” that was it. He was the CJCS, not an active planner or commander. It was Schwarzkopf, his generals, planners and overwhelmingly the troops in the field who were the heros. Being the corporate weasel general that he was, he was more than glad to take the credit. Republican or conservative? Never and NEVER.
