Biden Hints At Outlawing Unregulated "Private" Gun Sales

"And so the kinds of things that there's an emerging set of recommendations, not coming from me but coming from the groups we've met with," said Biden today, before a closed door meeting on gun control. "And I'm going to focus on the ones that relate primarily to gun ownership and the type of weapons can be owned. And one is, there is a surprising -- so far -- a surprising recurrence of suggestions that we have universal background checks. Not just close the gun show loophole but total, universal background checks, including private sales."

Biden will present his recommendations on gun control to the president on Tuesday.

Yeah, that’ll work.

I can see it now, “Yo, wait a second Tyrone while I call the ATF and run a background check on ya’ll”

"before a closed door meeting on gun control"

That's a major problem with this regime we have - nothing debated out in the open, just "closed door meetings" and then the citizens are zapped with legislation. Over and over. Tyranny isn't 'coming'- it's been here hardcore since 2009.

So your grandfather’s rifle, the one your dad gave to you, you won’t be able to give to your child, without a background check, and maybe not even then.

Anything like that will have to be done “under the radar” or under the table.

Hey Biden, if they're not registered in the first place, how in the world do you think you can REGULATE private arms sales?

Dumbass. Gun registration and regulating PRIVATE sales will do NOTHING ... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ... to stop another Newtown, Aurora, or Columbine massacre from happening again. Period.

There are over 2,400 federal gun laws on the books today. How many of them "SHOULD HAVE" stopped Newtown, Aurora or Columbine from happening?

Now ask yourself WHY they didn't.

Then you'll have the answer of what REALLY to do. But hey, don't let facts, logic and reason stop you dumbass libtards from emotionally knee-jerk reacting while trampling all over the GOD GIVEN RIGHTS of every-day Americans.

Yes, I will resist.

I think we need background checks on politicians, both before they run for office and retroactively (ex post facto).

1. Do they now or have they ever associated with left-wingers, communists, terrorists...
2. Are they Demoncrats...
3. Have they ever travelled on a passport other than one issued by the United States Department of State...
4. Do they have Social Security Cards illegally issued...
5. Do they claim to have been born in Hawaii...
6. Do they now claim Illinois to be their home state...
7. Or Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Delaware, California...

Any such are barred from holding public office in these United States.

So how is he going to implement it! He has NO DATABASE of firearms owners or what they own. WE have the guns he has NOTHING to bargan with.

That is why they have wanted GUN REGISTRATION since 1962.

Britain registered handguns and rifles, then confiscated them.

Same as Australia and the Philippines.

Anyone who bought a firearm in the last few years should find someone with an equal firearm and trade immediately.

If they then come to your door using the BATF applications you can say you do not have THAT firearm anymore and don’t know where it is now.

No matter how they sell “registration” to you it always ends up in CONFISCATION.

Nelson T. ‘Pete’ Shields
Founder of Handgun Control, Inc.

“I’m convinced that we have to have federal legislation to build on. We’re going to have to take one step at a time, and the first step is necessarily — given the political realities — going to be very modest.

Of course, it’s true that politicians will then go home and say, ‘This is a great law. The problem is solved.’ And it’s also true that such statements will tend to defuse the gun-control issue for a time.

So then we’ll have to strengthen that law, and then again to strengthen that law, and maybe again and again. Right now, though, we’d be satisfied not with half a loaf but with a slice. Our ultimate goal — total control of handguns in the United States — is going to take time. My estimate is from seven to ten years.

The problem is to slow down the increasing number of handguns sold in this country. The second problem is to get them all registered. And the final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition — except for the military, policemen, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs, and licensed gun collectors — totally illegal.”

So what is the purpose of a 4473 every time we purchase a gun then? Is it reasonable to think it's "just a form" that goes nowhere? It's not entered into a database?
