The Communists are tossing away their masks now.
An Illinois Senate committee, in a party-line vote, has approved restrictions on semiautomatic assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips.
Obama has apparently said he will move quickly on a new ASB and some kind of Amnesty for illegals.
I always think of the 1950s. I wasn't alive then so I can only study history.
Everything that was considered right in the 1950s is wrong now.
Thats how Obama sees America.
Everything white, male, Christian, patriotic or heterosexual is inherently and irredeemably EVIL.
The more of these categories something falls under the more EVIL it is.
His point of view is that of an angry, molested, jug-eared little mixed-race boy with a bats*hit crazy rich little Commie for a mother.
And he will have his revenge!
And one more thing -
If Boehner remains Speaker today Im done with the GOP.
NOTHING will get done as long as hes in charge. And after him it will be Pelosis turn.
Im just waiting to hear one way or the other.
Appearently the vote for Speaker is going down right now. No other Republican names were put in nomination other than Boehner. He needs 218.
I mean it, if he stays on as Speaker the GOP can kiss my ass.
My money is on the latter, unfortunately. Though I still hope to be pleasantly surprised.
Everything white, male, Christian, patriotic or heterosexual is inherently and irredeemably EVIL.
That’s because Obama is not White,Patriotic, Christian or Heterosexual.
His maleness is open to discussion
Father God forgive us our offenses. We love thee and want to be pleasing before Thee. We thank Thee with grateful heart for thy goodness, and blessings. Be merciful, Father. We praise and worship Thee thy truth and goodness, with all the understanding and light we possess, in Jesus name, amen.
Its official.
Boehner got 220.
He stays.
And Im out.
So you are going to cut and run?
What is this, the Battle of Bull Run?
We are paying the price for all the principaled conservatives who stayed home and refused to vote for Obama. They got what they wanted. They showed the GOP what’s what!
STAND FIRM BOYS.
We have a 2 party system.
We need 50% plus ONE vote.
In our 50%+1, we need 25% plus ONE vote to select a leader.
Instead of cutting and running.
It is time to start selecting and developing a leader.
Been saying that for years. Could it be that millions of ignorant Americans may be finally getting the picture. But is it too late?. Afraid it might be since we have lost most of any chance to stop and reverse it.
We give the GOP all three Houses for 6 years... and domestically, they can't manage a single major victory.
So they follow it up with McCain... and give us Obama.
We give them massive gains in the House in 2010 to help stop Obama's major initiatives... and they pass them all anyway.
And they follow it up by nominating Romney... who runs the most limp-wristed campaign against the easiest target ever in Presidential politics.
And now they keep Boehner... who has enabled Obama more than anyone else in the GOP...
And your brilliant call is to STAND FIRM!!!
ROFLMBO!!!
Far wiser for the footsoldier to desert (or kill their flag officers) than to continue fighting for such incompetent leadership. Sorry, those who are paying attention are deserting your army. The GOP national leadership has done NOTHING to help stop the Left's advance in the past 12 years... and they just decided to keep on the same path. STANDING FIRM is clearly not the solution anymore. Bye!
Nah, this is the part where the big talkers all threaten to quit the party, never vote for the Republicans again, rebel, etc, and, as you know, none of it ever happens. Some will make veiled references to revolution, but won't actually get out from behind their keyboards. The next time a vote doesn't go well, probably the debt ceiling fight in a couple months, the same people will be claiming to be done with the GOP and we will rerun this whole thing again.
Is our establishment weak and pitiful. Sure, no doubt. Does it represent real conservatism. Nope. But it does represent a majority of the voters in the Republican party who, in reality, mostly don't want the kind of dramatic cuts that are necessary any more than most Democrats do. We have a people problem in this country, not an "establishment" problem. As long as the people do not stand behind politicians that want massive cuts to the social welfare state, then few if any politicians will ever cast those votes.
We are Europe now. On a slow but steady glide path of decline. The public will do everything possible to keep the bloated social welfare state, just like Europeans. So we will kick the can, and kick it again, and kick it more and more often - who knows how much debt we can pile up before our economic house of cards implodes. Maybe years, perhaps another decade or two. But the problem is with our people. The "establishment" is merely a symptom of the bigger problem.
same here servo,
I’ll re register indie until a viable Conservative party emerges.
This dem lite BS is crappola.
And a RINO turd like boner is NOT my leader, course neither was romney, mcLame or dull dole either
I didn’t stay home.
And I don’t plan on staying home anytime soon.
When I say I’m through with the GOP I mean I no longer consider them my people.
I don’t think they want what I want nor do they care what I want.
One thing I’ll say about the Dems; They work as a team.
They all agree they will destroy Repubs no matter what.
They are all on the same page as far as that is concerned.
All the GOP does is talk. They want to be loved by everyone.
They’re happy to just be along for the ride.
I no longer trust them at all.
I no longer believe anything they say.
I feel that I am on my own.
They will not help me.
Oh, they’d really like to.
But, they already promised Reed and Pelosi they’d go out with them tonight.
You understand, right?
Hey, next time for sure, man!
We’re still tight, right? Who’s your buddy? Who’s your buddy?
No.
No more.
I am not a Republican.
I’m damn sure not a Democrat but I’m not a Republican.
The Democrats are now Communists to my mind.
Most Republicans are becoming Socialists.
It’s just a matter of degree.
I’m a Conservative.
I’m gonna do what I can to put Conservatives everywhere.
Amen.
A curse, or a benediction?
Maybe a little of both.
The word "crisis" in Japanese has connotations of both "danger" and "opportunity".
The Republican party only notices the danger.
The Democratic party only notices the opportunity.
Welcome to the future. Left the GOP due to GWB's daddy. Many moons ago. DC is corrupt beyond corruption. Every major crisis bill is loaded with pork and passed in such a crisis fashion that hardly anyone who votes even reads the stupid stack of paper. And our leaders do not even follow these DOA laws. Watching DC is like watching the titanic sinking in slow motion. Will be ripping up my US citizen as soon as the deficit hits 2 trillion or as soon as I have to report my Health Insurance to the IRS. Whichever comes first.
It was the perfect storm...America no longer has the industrial/other advantage that it enjoyed post WWII + a counter-culture that's been undeterred in destroying America's traditional value system(McCarthy is proven right...but Khrushchev get's the last laugh)...add in a few more poison pills like allowing 3rd world countries to export their poverty/crime here, along with an unscrupulous financial system that's joined at the hip to a centralized insurgent corrupt government, both of which having been allowed to run amok, while selling us out...you get a sure recipe for disaster.
Oh and a new(replacement)deity has emerged also...his name is Saul Alinsky, and Obama is the savior...with many more prophets being indoctrinated every day.
Really, kill their flag officers? Good grief.
Go back to the democratic inderground.
Now, keeping this in mind, let's look at the second sentence in your screed:
An Illinois Senate committee, in a party-line vote, has approved restrictions on semiautomatic assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips.
George Orwell is alive and well, watching FR and laughing sadly. We're supposed to be learned enough to know better.
