Nice break from the usual.

The fact that the lost message is in code and has yet to be translated didnt faze Leftkowitz. Even is the decoded message is, "Be sure to drink more Ovaltine", this professor will not blame Roosevelt for Roosevelt's decision. The bird made me do it!

The fact that the lost message is in code and has yet to be translated didnt faze Leftkowitz. That was hysterical! Sort of like an analogy of the health care bill.

That’s why I don’t trust pigeons. They always screw everything up either intentionally or unintentionally.

Good one John!
I do have a habit of reading without looking at the attribution or source. Clue number one that caused me to back track:
Professor Albee Leftkowitz
Great work as always!

The world is so screwed up that I had to get to this line,
“if you missed any of this week’s other semi-news/semi-satire posts you can find them at... “
to realize that it was satire. Up to that point nothing struck me as beyond the realm of possibility of what the whack-job leftist are saying these days.

We have finally been able to read the message. Contrary to the work of several cryptologists, it does not have anything to do with drinking Ovaltine.
The code is as follows: (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2962520/posts)
AOAKN HVPKD FNFJW YIDDC
RQXSR DJHFP GOVFN MIAPX
PABUZ WYYNP CMPNW HJRZH
NLXKG MEMKK ONOIB AKEEQ
WAOTA RBQRH DJOFM TPZEH
Some of the groups are obvious “place holders”, and the message reads:
“Pound pastrami, can kraut, six bagels—bring home for Emma.”
We believe this to be an embedded code, rather than the message itself. Dan Brown is doing further research on it.
