The Department of Labor has announced that new jobless claims rose by a staggering 78,000 in the first week after the election, reaching a seasonally-adjusted total of 439,000. Over the past year, and in the weeks leading up to the election, jobless claims were said to be declining, dipping as low as 339,000, with the media proclaiming that they had reached the "lowest level in more than four years." Now, suddenly, the news seems far less rosy.
From the Department of Labor press release this morning:
In the week ending November 10, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 439,000, an increase of 78,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 361,000. The 4-week moving average was 383,750, an increase of 11,750 from the previous week's revised average of 372,000.

RE: PA, OH Worst Hit
Then What’s this nonsense about them explaining the huge jobless increase to Hurricane Sandy?
Only a small part of PA was affected ( and not that badly ) while Ohio was hardly affected at all.

The 110% of the welfare/slut/union coalition who voted for BO couldn’t care less. None of these voting blocs work for a living anyway.

The real stats now come out after the election. Many of us called it here that the government was faking all these economic stats for the election. Now that the evil communist Obama is elected now the real stats come out. This is more fraud. The democrats also perpetrated massive voter fraud to steal the election for Obama. The democrat party is a criminal organization. How much more will we take? We are now slaves in a communist dictatorship. Will we put up with being slaves?
Notice that this tyrannical government kept ALL of the fake economic stats precisely where they needed so that the media could claim the economy was improving.

Surprise!
Not to anyone paying attention - we all know that Liar-In-Chief was cooking the books for his reelection so that he would not have to break the maximum "No President has ever been reelected with unemployment over 8%"
America now has the Liar-In-Chief they wanted and elected. Next up - RAT push to repeal the 22nd Amendment.

“Ohio was hardly affected at all.”
Was kinda like a thunderstorm here in the Cleveland/Akron area. But then it drizzled for a week. Lots of people did lose power though.

All I can say is this: Union liars. Unions for various industries that Obama helped bailout lied to try and go along with the media propaganda that Romney was wrong and the auto industry was doing fine. They did it as a demonstration in Toledo, Ohio, arguing that GM would rake in a massive job increase of about 100,000 starting in 2013, take that claim as you will. However, with the election over, no one is afraid to admit it anymore, because Obama won.

Hey, it’s not Bush’s fault anymore, it’s Hurricane Sandy’s fault, yeah that’s it, everything that happens from here on out is Hurricane Sandy’s fault, man, the Democrats are lucky, they never have to take responsibility for anything!

I’d like to say that PA and OH deserve it but I’m convinced that they would’ve been red if it weren’t for voter fraud. Also most BO voters don’t care about unem since they already are.

As an aside: the prior week's unemployment claim number was adjusted upward (again), but this time by 5,000. So in real terms, the increase from last week's original claims number (356,000) and this week's 439,000 result (until it too is revised upward next week - bank on it) is
83,000 new filings, a record increase as far as I can see. Geez Louise, what a
co-ink-y-dink!
Just wait until the unemployment rate for November is announced on December 3rd.
