GOP Adviser Claims Obama Campaign “Suppressed the Vote”
Semi-News/Semi-Satire ^ | 10 Nov 2012 | John Semmens

Republican campaign adviser Karl Rove complained that his Party was the victim of vote suppression.

“You couldn’t turn on a TV in a swing state without seeing a Democrat ad tearing down our nominee,” Rove said. “Sadly, too many registered Republicans were so disgusted by these attacks that they sat out this election as a protest. It was so unfair.”

Rove contrasted the Democrats’ “low road” with the GOP’s “high road.” “On numerous occasions Governor Romney called President Obama a ‘nice guy,’” Rove pointed out. “Not once did President Obama respond in kind. Voters were left to conclude that the Governor might not be a ‘nice guy.’ This is not the way a gentleman campaigns.”

Several of Romney’s rivals for the GOP nomination expressed puzzlement over Rove remarks. “Romney’s ads tore into my candidacy like a hungry T-Rex after I won the South Carolina primary,” Newt Gingrich recalled. “I was mercilessly out-spent and repeatedly pounded by Romney’s TV ads when I was the last obstacle in his path the the nomination,” Senator Rick Santorum remembered.

While admitting that Romney ran a “no holds barred” campaign for the nomination, Rove contended that “a major Party nominee ought to be entitled to a certain measure of respect. Once it’s man-to-man there should be a modicum of mutual respect from both the candidates. President Obama’s refusal to accord Governor Romney the respect due him will forever be a stain on his legacy.”

Romney’s advisors were telling him not to take the gloves off when we were all begging him to. He played nice against a lying Chicago thug and lost. What does anyone expect. Our candidate must get in the gutter with them and expose them for all to see in the most detailed way possible. That may mean saying a few mean things about BO that would be absolutely true. This is why I wanted Newt. He’s not afraid.

Good point about Romney’s attacks on his Repub enemies, versus his more restrained behavior toward the president.

But we have another problem. Yes, the vote was suppressed, but quite possibly disappeared. You are no doubt seeing reports of precincts with 110% of voters voting. I’ve seen reports of that in several states. Something similar is showing up in Allen West’s recount fight.

There may be a logical non-criminal explanation for it but I can’t think of one. Romney doesn’t seem to be up for the fight to get to the bottom of it, so thank heaven for Allen West.

Voter suppression could be people voting for one candidate and ending up voting for the other guy, without their knowledge.

Yeah, that would peel off a large enough percentage to give the vote to the other guy.

“Obama second term = Rove’s fault.”

Bingo! And you can add the rest of the “experts” like Dick Morris, Frank Lutz, Rush, and that blowhard O’Reilly. They told us over an over again that Barry was toast, but what were they basing that on? We on the right have got to stop buying books from these idiots, or donating money to them. Rove’s SuperPac spent $300 million of other people’s money, and for what? So that Rove could whine like a baby because he didn’t know what he was talking about?

These so-called “conservative intellectuals” have been taking us for a ride long enough.

Be prepared to hear all about lots of “voters staying home”...the Bipartisan Oligarchy would rather we all stew in that mess..than having us all bothered, and deciding to investigate, about all the voters voting who never voted...

Listening to descriptions of how “Democrats got out their ground game” with “superior ability to bring those to the polls who normally would never go” by the commentators on Fox election night..made me realize..what they actually have done is track names that HAVE NOT VOTED IN MANY, MANY elections cycles....and vote them.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/10/23/No-Car-Finds-2-214-Registered-Voters-110-Years-of-Age-Older

A well-funded project, county-by-county..to examine the names signed in at at the polls..and going out to find those individuals..you’ll find they were never physically at he polls..or they themselves never filled out the absentee ballot....or their names in the death registers.

The very LAST thing the Bipartisan Oligarchy want or need is any semblance of Constitutional Federal Gov’mt or a clean vote.

Both those are up to We the People to cram it down their throats so hard in DC they will, someday, never do otherwise.

Absent a clean vote.....We the People are being taxed without representation..Ask George III how well that worked out!

It was common sense to think Obama would lose. His ratings have been much lower than 50% for the better part of three years. The economy is in terrible shape, and by every historical standard, a new president would be sworn in. Unfortunately, a mix of bad strategy on our side, mixed with a great political machine on their part (and a compliant media), they were able to piece together more than the votes needed. It is unprecedented....but it happened.
