No. The list assumes that the democrats are looking for a candidate with actual experience or accomplishments. Barack Obama has shown that those sort of things are not necessary.
Democrats NEED labelled candidates. Their formula for winning in 2008 was to run a first-of-a-kind label.

Despite that hilarious bench - and one has to assume that unless Biden's 2-gaffes-a-day tour is (as some friends have wondered) ... an early brain disease thing, he'll be carrying the flag ... this is an 8 year deal, and only a scandal or very intrusive world event that can be spun as Republican's fault can stop it from being 12.
Difficult to imagine scandal w/Mitt - he's a total geek - which is his secret weapon.
World events? If America is properly dealing with the world, crazy events don't happen - Benghazi's don't happen.
This is a 12 year proposition, to use an Obama word. we'll pull out of the recession(s) for various reasons and thrive, but that doesn't mean it will be good for the US long term. Only 12 years of sustained long term pressure against the left, and conservative economic and foreign policy ... long enough for it to work ... is good for the US long term.
Romney picked Ryan for a few reasons. But one is that Ryan and Ryan's kind are whom Romney wants to see the country become more like, not only in terms of leadership, but in terms of the electorate. Romney is in the "Final leadership, mentor stage" in his life.
The Ryan pick was wise short term strategically, but all about leaving good seeds long term.
Obama has been a blessing (expensive blessing.) The Tea Party could not have accomplished what it has and will without Obama highlighting the alternative.
Which is a good segue - we couldn't ask for a better Dem bench, or a better president to bench.
