Israeli Flags Now Illegal in Dearbornistan

First, Christians were banned in Dearbornistan. Now, it’s Jews who are illegal. Why not just declare the place an outpost of Saudi Arabia and be done with the whole business.

“On 9-14-2012, Dearborn Fordson High School principal called the police on me for driving with 2 Israeli flags on my truck.

When the students began their assault he rolled down his window asking them to stop. After they pulled him over the police used the rolled down window as a pretext to accuse him of instigating the altercation.  While being questioned by the police in front of the high school the reader received death threats. The police denied hearing them though the individuals involved were only a few feet away.

“The Dearborn police were one car behind me when this student threw a bottle on my windshield. The police did not stop the student, but instead stopped me for 30 minutes asking me why I would display Israeli flags on my truck.”

This is how hellholes like Malmo get started. When the law becomes a tool for enforcing Muslim prejudices, then equal rights go out the window and police lecture anyone attacked by Muslims on what they did to provoke the attack.

But it’s not just Dearborn. The consensus of our governing elites is that making a movie mocking Mohammed is a crime that deserves to be punished. So why not driving with an Israeli flag as well? Where do we draw the line? Anywhere Muslim violence tells us to.

Mixed “feelings” about this one. That was the same as flying Condederate flags in front of a mostly black school in a former slave state. You’ve guaranteed yourself grief.

First of all, I don't see it as the same. Israel is a country. Flying the flag is an affirmation of that fact.

As to guaranteeing grief, with that reasoning those black kids going to all white schools did not deserve police protection either.

No doubt a large source of problems, regardless of philosophical perspective they originate from, is how these groups want to impose their will on others. I’m generalizing beyond Muslims in that regard. That’s at the heart of the problems in Dearborn and all over the world.

I live in Illinois, but I donate to Pete Hoekstra’s campaign and I pray he gets elected to the Senate from Michigan. I don't think that Dearbornistan is a Muslim-majority town - yet. Nor does it have a Muslim-majority police force. It's just that the local non-Muslims pander to the Muslims for political reasons and because they are intimidated.

Unfortunately FReepers are just as susceptible to popular falsehoods as liberals. The reality is that there is a dense concentration of muslims in the area but its certainly not a muslim majority. In fact Michigan ranks about 6th nationwide in muslim population.

I only live some 70 miles down the road and can't remember the last time I ran into an obvious muslim.

This is really more an issue of pandering to a minority than being ruled by a majority.

Unfortunately most of the Christian arabs despise Jews as much as Muslim arabs. Theologically they they come from replacement supersessionist strains of Christiandom that have often approved of Jew hatred and oppression. Maybe even more pertinent is the natural impulse to relate to the arab tribe before any religious concerns thus joining their Mohhamedian arab brothers and sisters in their enmity towards all things Jewish. Useful idiots - Christians are by no means excluded!

I forget the statistical rule - it only takes like 8 percent of a given population to take control and impose it’s will if conditions are right. Somebody did an analysis of totalitarian societies recently and came to a conclusion close to that.

Yes, Hubbard I would think holds the record for longest tenure as mayor of an American city: close to 50 years! I believe that when he died, he was buried not in a cemetery, but on the grounds of Dearborn City Hall. He's surely rolling over in his grave now in reaction to what's been going on around him.
