PHOENIX -- Erika Andiola's mother was pulled over by Mesa Police Saturday night for speeding but Andiola believes there was another reason, a reason police said is irrelevant.
"According to the police she was going 50 miles per hour when it was supposed to be 40," Andiola told 92.3 KTAR's Jay Lawrence.
"I actually went to speak to one of the cops and he didn't even want to answer whether he stopped them or not because of the color of their skin but I honestly felt that was the reason why that happened."
Andiola added that her mother and two siblings who were also in the car were adamant that they weren't speeding. The family is Hispanic.

I never had any luck with police just wave me on after I ran a red light due to I am Anglo and the police would just ignore what I did.. Race card again..

Pretty good vision that officer has, picking out a brown person doing 50 at night.
Or it could be that she was going 10 mph over the speed limit, you nut.
A dash cam will prove otherwise. Any group giving instructions on how to obfuscate law enforcement doing their jobs should be held financially liable.
This is just the start. A torrent of lies, just like the terrorists give, will come gushing out from these illegals to discredit the police any way they can. Look for EVERY illegal alien to try this tact.
That is the problem when you have people who have nothing but contempt for this country. They refuse to learn English, obey the laws and especially thing the laws don’t apply to them.

I don’t like the race card bit, but my son has been stopped umpteen times because he has a certain car, fits a certain profile (young man, dark curly hair) and drives a certain road.
It’s come to the point he’s installed a dash recorder because he’s been treated so badly. They stop him, and go through all the boxes in his car (tools). And they are quite rude about it. And they always use as an excuse the speed limit or such.
“OK lady I’ll book you for being an illegall alien and breaking the immigration laws and being illegally in this country.”
So what color are Hispanics?
On my mother’s side (Spain), we are all white with blue eyes.
On my dad’s side (Anglo), we are all white with blue eyes.

They say he is speeding (which he isn’t), or doing something otherwise, but when they stop him they immediately search his car. When he challenges them after they are done, on saying he is doing something illegal, they have said something like, “Shut up and drive away”.
If he really was doing wrong, I would have thought he’d gotten a ticket at least once.
He has a fast car and drives on a drug corridor, drives just under the speed limit. He has dark curly hair. That’s it, and we know it. We know cops in the area, that’s what they tell us.

The term “Hispanic” is usually reserved for Latin Americans, especially Spanish speaking Latinos. People from Spain are usually called “Spanish”.
Your son should tell the cops that no they can not search the car.
Sorry he is being targeted. This is not right.
Just a suggestion and your mileage may vary but the next time they stop him he should tell them he does not consent to being searched. Most likely they will call the judge and get a warrant and search his car anyway. However, this makes them waste their time and gets it on the record. Unfortunately it will waste your sons time as well. After they do this 2 or 3 times they will either get the idea and start leaving him alone or I would attempt to sue the city/police to force the issue. Keep the paper work make a big deal of it. Call a reporter.
I don’t have a problem with profiling. Another word for that is good police work. I do have a problem with stopping people without probable cause, and then conducting searches. Another word for that is fascism.
Be aware though doing the “no you may not search” will involve risks. I would record it and make double sure there are no weapons, drugs, screwdrivers, ammo, stun guns. Also make sure everything is tip top and current on the car. No broken lights, insurance up to date etc. He will be walking a thin line and pissing cops off. Also keep your hands visible and its Yes sir No sir all the time.

My daughters boyfriend was constantly getting stopped when he owned his Camaro.
Even his father got stopped a few times while driving it. So, he figured the car was what was being profiled. He got rid of the car since one more ticket and he would lose his license.
He has not been stopped since. It was definitely a car profile thing. I think if it was red it would have been worse. These type of cars just stick out and then they clock them.
