Former Lt. Col. Terry Lakin knows what despair feels like. He felt it full-bore on a late December day in 2010. Having been stripped of his rank, income, benefits, pension, and authority at court martial, this much-honored 17-year U.S. Army veteran was about to lose his freedom.
The good doctor had refused deployment to Afghanistan. He had been there before in his role as flight surgeon and would have been happy to go again. He had his bags packed and was ready to leave. All he asked from his commander-in-chief before boarding the plane was a sign, a nod to the constitutional niceties, a show of his birth certificate. It was not forthcoming.
Now, Lakin was on his way to Fort Leavenworth's Joint Regional Correctional Facility. Of all his hardship deployments, Bosnia included, this would be the hardest. After he bid a tearful farewell to his wife and three young children, his military minders chained his hands together and attached those chains to a band around his waist. They chained his legs and attached those, too. They then loaded him into a van and drove him to Reagan National.
There, Lakin endured his ultimate humiliation: a seemingly endless perp walk -- a shuffle really -- through a concourse filled with flags and patriotic bunting and the happy sight of returning soldiers. None of the display had lost its appeal, but Lakin could not overlook the irony of his being chained and bound amidst it all.

Sickened does not even approach how I feel about this travesty of justice. Every single service member in uniform deserves to know indubitably whether or not their CIC is legit or not.

I will be, one way or another. I wasn't planning on obtaining a copy from the website, but Amazon wants $25 for a paper copy, and they're temporarily out of stock. I just got an iPad recently, and haven't yet looked into how to download the Kindle/reader version, which is available for $10 but may go that route if it appears relatively painless.
The story of the bs that happened to this honorable man needs to be told and re-told. I sent the link to the AT piece via email to several people also.

I hope that in addition to ridding ourselves of Obama and his entire crew of leftist hacks in government, we also sh*tcan all of the four-star quislings who carried his bags.
There are way too many examples to review here, but just his having implemented the inane and insane ROE's which are causing needless casualties; his releasing of captured terrorists; his negotiating with our enemies (Tally-Ban); his having ordered that all training materials be purged of any mention of "Jihad," "Islam," "Terrorism," etc; his having embraced the Muslim Brotherhood (who proclaimed their intent to "Destroy our miserable house from within") to include appointing supporters thereof within his Admin; his having implemented Sharia in place of our Constitution and UCMJ in instructing our Military on how to "Handle and Respect" the Muslim Holy Book, (Qur'an) etc. ad nauseum, should in and of itself, be enough for our Vets/Military to reject this FASCIST, Neo-Commie, Scumbag.
Not meaning to question the Patriotism of those here who are virulently anti Romney or if they served, but I think that for those of us who did, we have a better understanding and appreciation of what is at stake if this phony, Community Agitator is allowed to win another term, thus the reason we will do anything (and that includes voting for someone we do not like, did not support in the primaries, know to be a RINO, etc.) to try and deny him a 2nd term.
While all the Social issues are important (such as Obama Care, Gay Marriage, Abortion, etc.) the SAFETY and SECURITY of our Republic trumps all; for if Dear Leader is allowed to continue on the path the has undertaken (and his attempt to harm--if not DESTROY--our Republic) we will have no opportunities to fight for those same social issues as we will more than likely lose the "Right" to do so absent another Revolution and that is something this country can ill afford.
It will never happen. Back in 2000 when I voted for President Bush, I had hpoes that he would get rid of and prosecute the criminals that Clinton had placed in office. It never happened. But in 2004, I voted again for Bush over horse face who served in VietNam. In 2008,after him picking Palin and not realizing that he was doing everything possible to throw the election to obama, I voted for Mc Cain. 1n 2012, I will not be voting for Romney.
And the Supreme Court REFUSES to hear this case.
There are two possibilities:
1. Barack Hussein Obama is an evil thug who is not a natural born citizen of the United States of America. He wants Lakin to go to prison as punishment for drawing attention to the fact that the communist in our White House is not eligible for the job he usurped.
2. Barack Hussein Obama is an evil thug who is a natural born citizen of the United States of America, but who is acting like he might not be as a diversion so that we will divide our efforts between the risky option of protecting freedom at the ballot box and the hopeless option of impeaching a usurper who is actually eligible. He wants Lakin to go to prison as a further distraction from the fact that the communist in our White House is doing exceptionally grave damage to our country.

Electing Romney will do nothing to reverse the culture of corruption in this country.
Some sort of “crisis” that results in watering the tree of liberty may be what it takes to correct us. I pray I’m wrong, but Americans need to wake up and accept the fact that the leaders of both parties no longer represent the people anymore.
Because he understands how to exercise power.
I hope this soldier makes millions, has his record cleansed and his rank restored if not elevated after Obama is tasered and taken out of the Whitehouse in the dead of night.

and not to put a damper on the good doctor, there is CHAIN OF COMMAND in the US Military....his job was to follow the orders of his immediate superior...although I respect his decision to bring attention to zer0s bogus Kenyan baggage....he knew the consequences of disobeying orders...and I can only hope the next President will give a FULL presidential pardon to him...those 2 border guards that Bush just commuted jail time to, Scooter Libby...and while he is at it about a dozen other patriots who need a full pardon, to.
It sucks but he knew this was how the story would end when he made his stand.

Based on what I hear on the Jungle Telegraph, that scenario might just come to be.
