pparently desperate to get spending underway on the California High-Speed Rail project, Gov. Jerry Brown has dramatically cut how much it will cost.
No longer will the train cost $89 billion more than state taxpayers have to pay for it. Now itll be only $59 billion short.
Yeah, thats like saying you will drown in only 59 feet of water instead of the deep end 89 feet...

Gotta get that money flowing into Democrat pockets.
I think all those states that will be saving money on getting rid of their illegals should offer free transportation and moving costs to the Kalifornia state line
...and you can arrive at work rested, enjoy a delicious meal in the dining car and take advantage of fee wi-fi...
I wonder how Willie Green is doing.
theres some shovel ready jobs, now shovel the taxpayers money in this hole and even though its not built it is too big to fail,
wink wink, nod, nod
(Yes. Some here actually believe that it would be like a garage sale or a sale at some store. Almost all bond issues pass. Hell we have lots of 'em. They are just laying around collecting dust.)
You know, when Jerry took over he announced the 20 billion dollar deficit is now 9 billion. It’s called sleight of hand, or magic. So this project went from 89 billion to 59 billion overnight. Magic? Sleight oh hand? Smoke and mirrors? I call this BS
Just when have any cost projections by the government ever been correct...especially on these dimbulb transportation projects? Bend over taxpayers...Here It Comes!!!!
What a rookie Brown is. He should build a canal instead. Scratch out a couple of shallow trenches and pocket the rest of the money. Use ‘em for sewer lagoons and jet-ski recreation areas.
Last time I checked he was banned from Liberty Post.. Who know where he is now..
I wonder what led to his demise on that website?
The same type of crap he was doing here.. The site owner was getting tired of it.
It is an interesting concept but it should be shelved until the State can come up with valid reasons,as to why it should be funded.
