When 138 Muslim clerics signed a document entitled, “A Common Word between Us and You,” it was portrayed as an attempt to unite Muslims and Christians. The document, however, asserted that the Islamic God known as “Allah” and the Christian God known as “Yawheh” are one in the same, that Christians and Muslims worship the same God...

Their first mistake is in beliving that Islam is a religion. It is not. It is a political system created by a madman to justify and satisfy his sexual perversions.

My daughter went to a church that prescribed Warren’s teachings 5 or so years ago. She dropped out, thank God. Many false teachers out there.

Where does Rick say he is affirming anything?

And who put that thing on his head mocking him?

Jack Van Impe has been very vocal in his criticism of Rick Warren over this recently.

What was the name of his book that all the churches glombed on to some years back? Be careful folks. Read the scriptures and listen to the Holy Spirit.

Right. But I want to see in the article where he is affirming anything that they say he is.

They are the same God, the adherents just have different ways of finding him.

If you believe that there is only one G-d, then the fact that Allah and Yahweh are just two differing names for that one G-d must be axiomatic. To say otherwise would be to acknowledge the existence of more than one G-d, which would contradict the axiom that there is only one G-d.

Rick Warren is acting the fool. Allah is a pagan god, and he will never be anything more than that.

What was the name of his book that all the churches glombed on to some years back?

That was "The Purpose-Driven Life." I read it eagerly when God placed a copy in my path, and I was looking forward to having my faith enlarged, enriched, and validated by this book I'd heard so much about.

Instead, the book left me feeling strangely empty. It took me awhile to figure out why. "Purpose Driven Life," in a nutshell, basically told me that the "best" and most worthy Christians are the loudest, most ostentatious ones in publicizing their dedication to doing conventional "good works." Meanwhile, real life tells me that God works His wonders in the most mysterious ways and through the most humble and sometimes even the most unlikely of agents, to spread His love. God is love -- that's what my bible says, and when I see people, even hopeless sinners, providing love to the unloved, I take it that it is His doing. After some time pondering why Purpose Driven Life left me so cold and depressed, I concluded that Warren isn't half as aware as he thinks he is, and twice as alienating.

Now I stick to my trusty ol' Sunday School Bible (KJV) given to me on my promotion to the 4th grade, 46 years ago. Its word is true and always leaves me feeling stronger.

Worth repeating...

“They are the same God, the adherents just have different ways of finding him.”

Like I said, Im not justifying their actions. But God id God, no matter what language the name is in. They are the same God as the God of Israel.

Don’t mean to pick on you RS, but God is ONE. There is just one of Him. He is the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no “they”, except in regards to the Trinity. “Allah” is a foriegn god, and those who worship him, worship a demon.

Any reading of the koran & hadiths will reveal their roots in Satan.

There is no Golden Rule in islam. The 10 commandments do not apply. Racism & misogyny are glorified. Paradise is a whorehouse attainable by mass murder. Christians & Jews are infidels, not brothers. Slavery, murder, rape, lying, & theft are all approved, even encouraged, in the koran.

So, what is it that Warren believes Christianity has in common with islam, beyond tithing?

Rick Warren is gonna find himself in a hot place being sodomized by mohammed for all eternity, if he is not careful.

Furthermore, Warren condemns his muslim friends to Hell by failing to tell them Jesus, not mohammed, is the only way to Heaven, which is NOT a pleasure palace for sexually frustrated muslim men. Warren is failing in his mission to spread the word of Jesus.

That he would equate the words of Jesus with those of a pedophile is pure heresy.

I'm so disgusted, I'm going outside to spit!
