State Rep. Dave Agema, R-Grandville, says kids are graduating from high school without a sound education in our constitutional underpinnings.
He and 22 Republican co-sponsors have introduced a bill mandating the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers, the Anti-Federalist Papers, the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights are taught in public schools.
His bill also calls for a daily recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. Similar measures have failed in the past, but Agema said he hopes tea party groups will push for passage.
"Hopefully, they will put enough pressure on and get it done," said Agema, who is term-limited at the end of this year.
Yes! This is a great thing. People are finally starting to realize the danger of the fragmentation of our beloved Country.

“I thought about asking if DRIBBLE is what comes from an outdoor spicket.”
Actually, DRIBBLE is the liquid you see dripping out of the corner of Liberal’s mouths as they speak. Liberal DRIBBLE may be used to determine if the Liberal is leaning to one side by noting whether there is more DRIBBLE on one isde of teh Liberal’s face.
If there is more on one side, the Liberal is leaning to that side. If the Liberal has equal amounts of DRIBBLE on both sides of his/her/its face, the Liberal is not leaning.
Ping in case you haven’t been.
