The Monty Python defense. My goodness. Joltin' Joe Lieberman announces a Senate Homeland Security investigation on F&F "inter-ageny miscommunication" and the head of Border Patrol runs away the very same day. Folks, just received this statement by email:

I do not quite understand what Joe Lieberman is doing.
Is he truly interested in finding who is at fault in F&F or is he saying the fault is actually because of Miscommunication and no one is actually at fault.
This is looking like a cop-out to me.Am I totally wrong or is Joe looking to give Holder and Obama a way out by blaming the whole thing on Miscommunication?

Too early to tell. Why bring it up at all though? Any way you slice it, it is not good for the Obama regime to have this open up in yet another set of hearings to the public: Especially in an election year.
I remember the days when we took that for granted.
