Breaking: We were right, Obama GAVE Iran the Drone!
Con Underground ^ | 12/10/2011

Posted on 12/09/2011 10:24:21 PM PST by Just4Him

A couple of days ago Conunderground.com was the first to point out that the circumstances surrounding the “crash” of the top secret RQ170 Sentinel drone simply didn’t add up. And we were tight! The story continues to develop and it doesn’t look good!

To recap, first we were told that Iran might’ve shot it down and then the story changed to “the drone crashed on Iranian soil ”

After realizing that the Iranians were about to parade a perfectly functional drone with nary a scratch on it, the official story changed to “the drone landed because it wants to live” I kid you not that is the official story!

The flack we caught for running the story was typical of the the kind of BS spewed by Obama’s supporters but none the less I didn’t withdraw the story because the official version simply didn’t add up.

The immediate and obvious questions were these: 1) Why didn’t we try to recover the drone? 2) In lieu of a rescue effort why didn’t we bomb it into oblivion? Apparently there was third option and Onama struk that down also.

THE ANSWERS WILL SHOCK YOU – or maybe not. Fox News National Security Correspondent Jennifer Griffin reported that apparently the Pentagon pleaded with Barrack Hussein Obama to give the order to do just that. The Pentagon initially wanted to send a special forces team to recover the drone. Obama shot down that suggestion. Then the Pentagon offered up plan B , blow it to kingdom come. Obama refused that too and now Iran and China have a brand spanking new fully functional top secret US RQ 170 Sentinel Drone.

The Drone was not recovered or destroyed specifically per Obama’s orders

Exclusive: Computer Virus Hits U.S. Drone Fleet October 7, 2011

A computer virus has infected the cockpits of America’s Predator and Reaper drones, logging pilots’ every keystroke as they remotely fly missions over Afghanistan and other warzones.

The virus, first detected nearly two weeks ago by the military’s Host-Based Security System, has not prevented pilots at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada from flying their missions overseas. Nor have there been any confirmed incidents of classified information being lost or sent to an outside source. But the virus has resisted multiple efforts to remove it from Creech’s computers,...

“We keep wiping it off, and it keeps coming back,” says a source familiar with the network infection, one of three that told Danger Room about the virus. “We think it’s benign. But we just don’t know.” ...

...technicians at Creech are trying to get the virus off the GCS machines. It has not been easy. At first, they followed removal instructions posted on the website of the Kaspersky security firm. “But the virus kept coming back,” a source familiar with the infection says. Eventually, the technicians had to use a software tool called BCWipe to completely erase the GCS’ internal hard drives.

In a righteous nation, you’d be correct.

But the America that was is either sleeping or dead.

First there are stories about Chinese counterfeit micro chips being found in US weapons per the Senate Armed Services Committee, now this?

“If this is true I would think someone in the military would let it be known>”

Not in a military refined by 40 years of hard PC. They’ll STFU, cast their eyes down and walk away. THAT is the REASON for PC, it conditions people through fear to do as their “expected” to do by whomever is in charge.

So, this drone was downed by a virus we knew about but couldn’t use Norton to remove.
Or it was “allowed” to be captured by direct orders from Obama.

How about; it does have a virus that we put there (previous stories were misdirection), it will be taken, copied and distributed to Iran, China, North Korea, etc. where it will cause stuxnet-like mayhem.

Ok, that last one is a desperate hope, probably one the first two =(

It wasn’t crashed, it was landed.

Look at the videos from Iran. Crashed birds don’t survive so intact.

Most likely China or Russia were involved in gaining control of the avionics. There may have been irratic control issues explaining the dent in the leading edge on the left wing, about a 3”-6” dent, maybe 1-2” deep, but quite truthfully that also could have been caused in transporting it while in enemy possession.

Some bloggers already are suggesting the problem was crypto being leaked over to China and the Chinese taking control of the aircraft, which makes more sense than it ‘crashing’.

I see no evidence of it being ‘shot down’.

Not true. Including unmanned aircraft

From the pictures that have been revealed it looks like the RQ-170 bellied in. So there'd be damage to the undersides (like there was on the unmanned F-106 above), which is why the Iranians have the bottom of the vehicle obscured.

Additionally, it looks like both the RQ-170's wings snapped off and were put back together somehow - with the Iranians trying to mask the breakage points with duct tape.

I heard a report that the Iranians took control of the drone, wresting control from the U.S. controllers. I would be amazed if the controls were not encrypted well beyond the Iranians, or anyone’s, ability to break. If it is true, then someone must have given them the crytological keys. In order to control it, you would need a good analog of the actual control station, something I am not willing to credit the Iranians with.

It should be within the Iranians capabilities to jam it. Even so, I would assume that it has a preprogrammed response to loss of control signal, which does not include the instruction “land at hostile base”. More like, “return to safe base autonomously”.

I am not convinced that the loss of this asset is a serious blow to the U.S. While something of a public relations coup for the Iranians, I don’t think it constitutes an intelligence coup.

The whole idea of drones is that they are much more expendable than U.S. personnel. Sending in special forces negates that advantage. Lobbing ordance after it in Iranian territory would be a further public relations coup for the Iranians. In this case, I think Obama chose the least worst option. It’s like killing Osama, sometimes even a broken clock is right.

And if one of those people so threatened just came out with it and said “screw it, do your worst to us, we’re ready to meet our lord!”

Assuming that anyone made such a treat limited it to just that one person, not their family, friends and neighbors ... as for “in public”, in public means that the media would have to report the story in the first place, thereby placing that reported on the same list.

Fox News’ Bret Hume is a case in point. Way back, he was very outspoken in his views, to the point of pissing powerful Clinton people off. Then suddenly, his son commits suicide (as I recall), Bret immediately begins to morph into the kinder, gentler, wishy-washy guy we see today. Coincidence?

These outspoken, threatened people would just disappear, have accidents, die of natural causes, commit suicide, and so on. The public would never hear nor know what it was they were revealing. What might leak out would be a confusing mess, easily dismissed as kook conspiratorial theory, and roundly laughed at in the media.

You must be a time traveler living in the America which ceased to exist by 1980.

I agree regarding the 1970 Cornfield Bomber episode.

I don’t doubt an autopilot sequence might level the craft out.

If it had lost part or both wings, it wouldn’t have looked so pretty.

I seriously doubt it automatically landed itself in enemy territory without also a self-destruct device being automatically detonated.

Actually it makes perfect sense in consideration of the long term plans of those behind Obama.

Which plans will see their fruition during Obama’s third and fourth terms as President.

Iran and China should hurry up and download all the information from the drone’s computers and then send thumbdrives to all their top scientists for analysis.

That's a clever plan.

Meaning it didn't come thru Barry's brain.

G. Soros, Peter Lewis, et al do not live in the WH. Nor is the Tides Foundation a part of the US government ... Obama just asks V. Jaret for the day’s orders from the “deep thinkers” who do not live in the WH.

My take on the RQ-170 has been that it was a prototype/proof-of-concept placed into production and operational service as a stop-gap measure. Just like with the Predator. The lack of many well-known "stealthy" features - like faceted edges on access panels and the landing gear doors - would seem to support this.

Given that, it wouldn't be surprising if it either wasn't fully tricked-out with the latest/greatest features, or that it's systems didn't exactly work as advertised.

That RQ-170 in the picture (I'm taking the recent reports from the US DoD as accurate), then I do buy the story that it ran out of gas and passively "glided" to a landing that left it structurally intact - with the "soft" landing causing damage to the underside (masked by the Iranians by sitting it on a table) and shearing the wings off at their separation points from the main fuselage (crudely masked my the Iranians using duct tape)
