The Right Elective Decisions ^ | 12/01/11 | Chris Davis

Should Herman Cain drop out of the race? Or should he stay in the race until the voters tell him to leave? Does he fight? Or does he leave? And if he should leave, why? What do you say?

Sooooo, I guess you bought into the Democratic psyops. This HC assault is nothing but a dry run. Wait till Romney becomes the nominee (don't worry, the dem operatives will make sure he is the last man standing because they know folks like you will believe ANYTHING they conjure). Once the fix is in they will destroy him as easily as they are destroying HC. Newt will be even easier to "newter" no pun intended! Way too much baggage. Then you will have effectively helped re-elect Obama. They do it because they can get away with it.

Unless Obama gets elected again. Then it won't matter anymore.

It will always matter, never give up.

Oh, I’m not giving up. There’s no way Obama’s getting elected again.

I am for Bachmamm or Paul. My ideal ticket is Bschmanm Psul.

Those two would literally make. Me stop my business and campaign for them 24 7. Lobpve MB.

MB would equal - Hell Cat in Chief.

That is why, regardless of our individua 2012 candidates, we should have united as ONE on the Green at Lexington at the sound of first liberal shots (against Herman Cain using classic Alinsky "freeze, isolate, destroy" tactics), knowing full well they would just go down the line and hit other candidates with the same tactics too. If we united and shoo-ed these pests vigorously away on this, ripped their masks off immediately and vanquished them as a united anti-Obama Team, the Obama Machine would not try it as easily on other conservative candidates' campaigns (as they are doing and will start doing in earnest from now). Any Freeper who participated in the naysing and whispering and joking and outright verbal assaults about Herman Cain and bought fully into the horrid Axelrod Chicago Hardball Machine only to narrowly advance their own candidate, despite the wider warnings we made, should be thinking a lot about that tonight. I know many of them. I will not soon forget their names. You are talking to some of them on FR right now.

I agree. While vigorous debate is welcomed during the primaries, there are many on the right that just don't GET IT!! To advance an idea, you need to control the narrative and the narrative is being laid out by your opponent. Obama cannot win on his record and he knows it. He needs to change the conversation. What to do? Well leave it to the establishment republicans to come to the rescue. Why isn't anyone in the RNC elite coming out with a counter attack? We are talking about very serious libelous accusations not policy differences. Where are all the sharp-eyed, Ivy league educated lawyers to discredit these allegations? My take is that HC is a nightmare to both the democratic machine and republican establishment. A citizen politician in the 21st century is the most dangerous politician for the entrenched political class. Imagine that, a black, god fearing conservative man blessed with success in life, liberty and his pursuit of happiness wants to share his ideas and wisdom with the American people who are desperate for someone with bold ideas and remind them that America is not in decline. That the American experience is a noble one and should be a beacon of hope for the world to see. In many ways HC is a metaphor for the American experience. Instead, HC must be targeted, isolated, ridiculed and finally destroyed. To me the destruction of HC is IMHO a microcosm of the destruction of the idea of what the United States stands for. You might agree or disagree with HC policy positions but to take comfort in his decline based on incredible bordering on the absurd accusations so your guy can scape a few points at his expense is rather pathetic.

BOOKMARKING.

You analyzed it perfectly and turned over every stone. This is precisely what is happening, this is precisely who benefits, and this is precisely how they will behave to other candidates. Controlling the narrative. As old as the Hanging Gardens of Babylon themselves.

If I were a Political Science PhD candidate doing a dissertation on "character assassination" in modern American politics, why I would chose the Cain Campaign 2012 as a classic case study and analyze it from every angle like you have, and I am sure what the conclusion or assertion would be. It is bad enough to have vast hordes of sheeple in the American populace, but to also not have a shortage of them within conservatism and GOP itself, is nothing short of downright demoralizing.

You’ve now accused me of being a phony and of being dishonest. Both are false.

I didn't just accuse you, I proved it.

You've got a high profile as a Perry supporter on this site, smooth. No getting around that. Just be straight about that when you're posting about other candidates.

Deception and Deceit is one of the traits of these posters that I dislike the most. Also, their low-opinion of everyone else that they think they can behave in this manner and no-one will realize what they are up to.

I can be a bit galling, can't it? I won't accuse every Perry supporter of that behavior, but I have seen some display it here and there. Like I said before, it's no wonder that all of this infighting is going on between us, given the slate of candidates we have to choose from.

I just hope we can mend the broken bridges, once we get to wherever it is we're going. It would be a dream come true, if some strong leader could rise and bring us all together. Lord, do we need that now.

They (Obama/DNC/MSM) tested a particular attack model operationally (as my tagline notes) and shockingly, CONSERVATIVES HERE ON FR also participated in and and helped prove its viability.

The rad-lib ruling establishment's sole narrative of American Conservatives this cycle: They are either stupid or philanderers or both. They won't talk issues as their internals tell them they cannot win on issues, in fact will if they stand on their record, go down to a historic defeat.

The Dems have rows of razor sharp teeth, a huge appetite, and no conscience whatsoever about who they have to rip to shreds to get what they want. They're also diabolically cunning, and willing to do things that we on the right dare not even dream of.

As you've pointed out, they've successfully manipulated conservatives into attacking, or at the very least, not defending their own against the dirty smear campaigns, character assassinations, and wars of personal destruction they've waged against them.

Is it any wonder that the best among us aren't stepping forth to answer the call of duty at this dire hour? Why would they, when it's been proven time and again that they'll be mercilessly attacked, while their brethren (whom they've sworn to fight for) stand mute and unmoving?

This is actually painful to even talk about. We should have been a much better people than we've been.

The only thing you’ve proven is that you’re capable through your own words of repeatedly demeaning yourself. I don’t envy you.

in other words, they think we are too stupid to know what they are up to.

That's why I said, "Save it for the n00bs." They're not fooling the rest of us one bit.

An attack on ONE was an attack on ALL.

That our townspeople--many of them--turned their eyes away and went for the shadows as the Democrat Klan went to rig up the rope for this "high tech lynching", yes, it amounts to a collosal human failure and moral weakness on the part of so many on our side, it is so very, very demoralizing. I conclude the following: I believe at this point, that Obama will be reelected, because we as Conservatives failed a huge tactical test early on in the game, and the Establishment were/are invariably emboldened about it ("Hey, it WORKS!"), so do not be surprised to see every good, quality GOP candidate either prevented from entering this 2012 race, or driven from it. It will be RINO vs. Obama, and Obama will handsomely win another four years, he might even get or keep some element of the Congress. Not good. Not good at all. There should be a lot of shame out there. GOP Moderate talkshow drone Laura Ingraham's joking about it and making fun of Cain and completely megaphoning the whole rotten Politico-Axelrod deal, made me want to throw up a little in my mouth and a) never again will I listen to her, and b) never again will I buy a book from her, in fact I will find some way to get a refund of "Of Thee I Zing" which she wrote, and I got through Amazon.com. I might just indicate it was the wrong book for me (the truth in hindsight) and send it back and see what they say--if they refund I will donate same amount to Cain Campaign, legal fees, what not. The nerve of Ingraham writing about "MORAL ISSUES FOR AMERICA", and also hurredly making the Station of the Cross of Jesus in Jerusalem with her co-writer, all the while more recently cackling and chortling and knee-slapping and fortifying the Alinsky negative narrative as a Bearing False Witness (7th Commandment) Campaign was being mounted against Herman Cain, and not only that, she was having the time of her life it seems. Hypocrite. Where in her catechism does it say to treat Christians or anyone this way??

Excuse me. It DOES matter a whole lot if someone is innocent or guilty I would say. I want to see full proof that he is guilty. Not accusations or any of that nonsense whether he gave her money or not. YOU may think he is a goner and he may be but until such time I don’t will presume him innocent until he is proven guilty and...if he is proven not guilty then I would take this lady to court.

absolutely. anyone can come forward and say anything against anyone. If you accuse someone of something you should have to prove it. If Cain is proven innocent he should sue the hell out of all these people.

I believe you missed my point. I’m saying he will drop out because he admitted he hadn’t told his wife about the “relationship.” That is what will do him in, not whether or not he’s guilty of an inappropriate relationship...guess what he’s gone, and that was my whole point!
