SEE: Senators Unveil Jobs Through Growth Act

Sens. Paul, Portman, McCain and McConnell offer Republican plan to create millions of
American jobs
Oct 13, 2011

Some of the provisions CLICK HERE are as follows:

Require a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution - (S.J.Res.10, Sen. Hatch)

A proposed balanced budget amendment which neither requires an annual balanced budget and actually makes it constitutional for Congress to not balance the budget. But heck, with a title such as “balanced budget amendment” who would ever think of analyzing what the actual proposal would really accomplish.

Enact Enhanced Rescission Authority - (S.102, Sens. McCain & Carper)

This of course is the Washington Establishment’s long sought after presidential “line item veto power” which our founding fathers specifically rejected because it would place a blackmailing power in the hands of the president and undermine our representative system of government!

In discussing veto power during the framing of our Constitution Benjamin Franklin notes the following on June 4 of the Constitutional Convention, and reminds the delegates how the veto power had been exercised by royal governors and why the convention should not grant such power to the president:

'The negative of the governor was constantly made use of to extort money. No good law whatever could be passed without a private bargain with him. An increase of salary or some donation, was always made a condition; till at last, it became the regular practice to have orders in his favor on the treasury presented along with the bills to be signed, so that he might actually receive the former before he should sign the latter. When the Indians were scalping the Western people, and notice of it arrived, the concurrence of the governor in the means of self-defense could not be got, until it was agreed that the people were to fight for the security of his property, whilst he was to have no share of the burdens of taxation.''

Reduce and Reform Individual, Small Business and Corporate Taxation

Under this proposal, the objective is to keep the insidious income tax alive and manipulate it rather than withdrawing Congress’ power to lay and collect taxes calculated from profits, gains, salaries, tips, wages, etc., and return to our Constitution’s original tax plan.

Regulation Moratorium and Jobs Preservation Act - (S.1438, Sen. Ron Johnson)

Now that the Obama Administration has put countless new subversive and unconstitutional regulations into effect, our good cops, the Republican Party Leadership, promises to prohibit any new regulations until the America People have learned to submit to and be obedient in accepting the existing tyranny imposed upon them by the Obama Administration.

Renew Trade Promotion Authority - (S. Amdt. 626, Sen. McConnell)

This hideous proposal is to undermine the power and responsibility delegated by our Founding Fathers to Congress to regulate America’s commerce with foreign nations with America‘s best interests in mind! Our Republican subversive’s idea is to have the President exercise this power on “fast track” and then take the heat for a continuance of the Washington Establishment’s closing down of America’s manufacturing base and moving it to foreign nations paying slave labor wages, who will then be allowed to import their products with the assurance of no import duties or regulatory interferences from Congress. Of course, this will create jobs for the American people on America soil ____ selling the crap from China that falls apart and poisons the America People who are no longer able to buy American made products because part of the Establishment’s aim from the very beginning has always been to close down all competition, especially America’s manufacturing base and its high quality well manufactured products which are almost impossible to find these days.

I would go on but hopefully Tea Party Actives will learn from the above that the Republican Party Leadership has already co-opted their beloved Ran Paul who has signed on to such tyranny!

JWK

America we have a problem! We have a group of DOMESTIC ENEMIES who have managed to seize political power and whose mission is in fact to bring “change” to America ___ the dismantling of our military defensive power; the allowance of our borders to be overrun by foreign invaders, the diluting of our election process by allowing ineligible persons to vote; the circumvention of our Republican Form of Government which is now replace with a 12 member committee vested with power to make law; the destruction of our manufacturing capabilities; the transferring of America’s technology to hostile foreign nations; the strangulation of our agricultural industry and ability to produce food under the guise of environmental necessity; the destruction of our nation’s health care delivery system, the interference with our ability to develop our natural resources, namely oil, to fuel our economy; the looting of both our federal treasury and a mandatory retirement pension fund; the brainwashing of our nation’s children in government operated schools; the trashing of our nation’s traditions and moral values; the creation of an iron fisted control unauthorized by our written Constitution over America’s businesses and industries; the devaluation of our nation’s currency, and, the future enslavement of our children and grand children via unbridled debt and inflation, not to mention an iron fisted government which intends to rule their very lives!

Problem is, the American People bring this crap upon themselves. Right now Herman Cain seems to be very popular in GOP polls. But Herman Cain has proposed “Empowerment Zones” under his 9-9-9 plan under which he would enforce unequal tax law, and pick winners and losers, just as Obama has done in the Solyndra deal.. His idea is to give special tax deductions for businesses that employ residents living in designated lower-income “empowerment zones” as well as income tax deductions for residents living in those zones.

Of course, the intentions of our founders with regard to arbitrary preferences being granted by the federal government are expressed in Article 1, Section 8:

No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another: nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one State, be obliged to enter, clear or pay Duties in another.

The fact is, our federal government is not there to enter the States and use the force of the federal government to pick winners and losers. Its job is to keep its nose out of the internal affaires of the States as indicated in Federalist No. 45:

“The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected.

The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State.

What part of Federalist No. 45 does Mr. Cain not understand? And what about the Tenth Amendment? Does Mr. Cain think it is merely a suggestion like every RINO and Progressive on Capitol Hill thinks it is?

Why are so many willing to close their eyes to Cain’s promises to ignore our Constitution?

That would be US Sen. Rand Paul (Kentucky), son of US Rep. Ron Paul (Texas).

ok put down the bong....Go and read the Cain’s web page on 9-9-9, it’s a transitional plan. It’s Phase 1 it provides the funding and the momentum to get to Phase 2 a national consumption (sales) tax. Almost all free market economists say that a national sales tax is the best way to raise revenue in a free market society. For one thing its fair everyone has some skin in the game. Also it encourages savings (i.e., capital formation) it removes the double and sometimes triple taxiation that occurs in our present system. It reduces the hidden federal taxes that are in the production of goods and services. This should be reflecteed in price reductions. Price reductions, a future of greater capital accumulations should spur investment and be a huge boost to the economy. Can we break this by spending too much? Of course! Are entitlements still out of control? Of course! Is it a panacea to everything ? Well no, but this Hodge Podge corrupt present system only benefits politicians and other rent seekers.

"Bong?" I didn't hear anything about any "bong." Or are you trying to advance some kind of feeble argument by ridiculing the poster? Frankly, I can see, without benefit of any "bong," much to dislike here. The sponsors are a who's who of RINOS, the kind that have seen us crash into the reefs.

PS. Mark me down with the opponents of a National Sales Tax. I worked my ass off for years and years, paying in to an income tax. Now that I am getting close to a break in that tax by virtue of retiring, Cain wants to create a brand new tax to hit my purchases (with my already heavily taxed savings) in my golden years?

New taxes must be resisted and stopped, not embraced.

Read the Cain web page! Read the 9-9-9 explanation.
You will benefit far more from a national sales tax then the current system, The Cain play moves us away from the current tax the producer and give to the non-producer system. Read it instead of lashing out!

Cyber Liberty,

The Washington Establishment has been trying to get some sort of consumption tax since the 1980s [national sales tax, value added tax, fair tax, etc.] while keeping alive Congress’ power to lay and collect taxes calculated from incomes. If this ever happens you can kiss America as we know it goodbye.

And, it is only self evident that a national sales tax as proposed by Herman Cain would be greeted with open arms by depots and political schemers who dream of a tax which can constantly be increased in such small increments, say a quarter of a percent at a time to feed the “starving children” which would avoid significant outcry, and the proverbial frog, the America People, will eventually be cooked before they realize what has happened.

And yet, that quarter of a percent will efficiently drain billions upon billions of dollars from the American People’s pockets, which will then be used to grow the beast in Washington which our founding fathers intended to be the people’s servant and not their master.

Why on earth would anybody support a national sales tax which Herman is promoting along with the continuation of two forms of income taxation, including that which taxes working people's earned wages and would tax the food a mother buys to feed her child, taxes the clothing she purchases to cloth that child, taxes the fuel used to heat that child’s room during winter months, taxes the medicine a mother needs to care for a sickly child, and then our beloved Herman Cain would tax the coffin used to bury her child because she simply could not afford his national sales tax on every imaginable necessity of life in addition to Mr. Cain taxing the bread she earns when selling the property she has in her labor?

How many poor working people who are now meeting their own economic needs will be forced onto the public dole under Herman’s tax plan which keeps alive two forms of the socialist income tax?

Is Herman Cain’s tax reform consistent with the thinking of one of our most prominent founding fathers who said:

“…..with all these blessings, what more is necessary to make us a happy and a prosperous people? Still one thing more, fellow-citizens—a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities“.__Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address

But getting back to Herman Cain’s “empowerment zones”. Why are so many “conservatives” comfortable with folks in government picking winners and losers? Have you not learned your lesson with the Solyndra deal?

Am I to assume we are again faced with RINOS as our candidates? Why don’t we find someone else since Palin has opted out(I am not sure she was a conservative either)? I am tired of people not telling the truth.

Why are we letting a select group of people choose our candidates? I understand about the Liberals. They are little followers; but we aren’t.
