Can you believe 10 years later, that America still has not erected new towers?
What a TOTAL FAILURE and such a weak pathetic message to the rest of the world about what America really stands for.

At least the Ground Zero Mosque project is moving forward on schedule.
Our country is broke and on the down swing.
This once great nation is fading....

I am sure ONCE the One World Trade Center is completed, it will be beautiful, however, having said that, the name alone “One World Trade Center” is BS!!

Construction work began on the North Tower in August 1968; construction on the South Tower was underway by January 1969.
The first tenants moved into the North Tower in December 1970 and the South Tower accepted tenants in January 1972.
That’s two years from start of construction (not including site prep, bedrock prep,etc which was earlier) for North Tower and 3 years for the South Tower.
10 years later we cannot get anything together— except of course, a mosque, courtesy of Mike the dictator Bloomberg.
lighten up man ... it took 6 years of construction for the first tower to be finished during the first build, the second tower was finished one year later. And that was after they already had the design.
Add to that time frame the site needed to be cleared which tool almost a year, a design accepted and approved and then construction to begin. The ground breaking did for freedom tower did not start till 2006. Add six years to that and you will have the same time frame as the first tower so April 2012 will be just about right time wise. In Aug 2011 the tower was already at 80 floors

80 years ago, the Chrysler building was built in roughly 18 months. The original towers were finished in two years during the late 1960s.
Can anyone believe that, 10 years later, we are UNDERSTANDING and COEXSISTING with the enemy in this country!

10 years later, 9-11 is already ‘sanitized’, It’s the PLANES that attacked the towers. The MACHINES did it, so I guess Boeing is guilty.
Islam has been taken out of 9-11- a mere 10 years later. History is being rewritten while those who lived it watch.

You could rebuild them as they were, but then what? You need people to lease space or else you have a shining symbol of resilience that you have gone broke to realize.
We have to remember the WTC was private property, and still for the most part.

In fact, I had been to the Ground Zero site in March of '02 which was one of the saddest and most anger-inducing things I had ever seen. Going back in late '09, the sounds of construction there was like music to my ears.
Yeah but there’s a hole in the ground park with a fountain and a buried cross. Oh, and there’s a Muslim crescent for Shanksville. These guys sure know how to twist the shivs.
Problem for them is once you get past the pain, the cold anger freezes your targets. We know who they are now, don’t we? Finally?
