President Deflects Criticism of Birthday Bash
A Semi-News/Semi-Satire from AzConservative ^ | 5 August 2011 | John Semmens

Posted on 08/07/2011 11:48:15 AM PDT by John Semmens

Critics who suggest that his extraordinarily expensive 50th birthday party celebration might be inappropriate given the current state of the economy were brushed off by President Obama.

“First of all, as we’ve been saying for the last two years, spending is what stimulates the economy,” Obama pointed out. “The more everyone spends, the better off we’ll all be.”

“Second, I don’t think the American people want to see their President suffer,” Obama went on. “I reject the idea that ‘misery loves company’ and I believe that most Americans do too. They are humble enough to gain vicarious pleasure from knowing that as bad as things might be for them, their President is spared from pain. It's kind of a 'viva le roi' thing.”

“Finally, even if I were to concede that the event is unacceptably extravagant, I am not the one paying for it,” Obama concluded. “No one can rightfully accuse me of wasting my money on frivolity. If my friends and supporters want to buy me a big party it’d be rude of me to say no.”

In related news, an unidentified spokesman defended the use of non-union labor at the President’s birthday party saying that the money saved boosts the net return for the President’s reelection campaign fund.

The major worry for Obama is that this down market will allow corporations sitting on cash to purchase their own stock with it at a huge discount, instead of giving it to him and his party.

That's really all he cares about.

Obama needs to be reminded that the grass roots of America decided to boycott consumerism as much as possible the day he was elected, and absolutely nothing other than his removal will regain consumer confidence, he cannot force, bribe, conjure or even plead for America to go back to anything approaching normal levels.

We have the power to NOT buy more than absolutely necessary.

And we can and will be just like that until he is gone.

I can say honestly my words can be repeated by many all across America. We The People are boycotting YOU Obama.

Obama, like all other textbook psychopaths, does not know the meaning of the words, “personal responsibility.”
