On July 26, 2011, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Illinois) was arrested outside of the White House after refusing to move when asked by authorities.
Gutierrez, who sat in front of a sign that read "Stop Separating Our Families" with a line of protesters, refused to leave when asked by the police. Gutierrez was in attendance at a rally urging President Obama to do more to stop the deportation of illegal immigrants.
MRCTV caught up with Gutierrez before he was arrested in which he said, "I think (President Obama) should use the broad discretionary power that the laws have conferred upon him and make decisions, smart decisions" in regards to deportation. The arrest occurred around 4:40 pm.

La Raza douche arrested...he’s from my state....news at 11.
Round up ALL illegals and send them packing back to from whatever crap hole they came from.
American citizens are separated from thier families when they break the law and are sent to prison. Why should illegal aliens get speical treatment?
Maybe this was cooked up yesterday while Obama was speaching at them
For two years, President Obama, Pelosi and Reid, had the option of enacting ANYTHING they wanted with regard to immigration . . but NO. Instead, Obama is now using the illegals to stir up the Hispanic community to demonstrate and possibly riot against the eeeevil Republicans. Voila! Another magic eternal voting bloc for the Democrats/Communists. Dare I say it? O’Thuga is the right way to pronounce his name.
Mistake not, these folks mean nothing other than votes in bulk to either Obama or Gutierrez. Obama didn’t suddenly get conservative religion. He’s just stirring the pot a little. So what if a few families (illegales plus anchor babies) get busted up? Those are just the eggs required to make their socialist power trip omelet.
This is happy news! I’m all for arresting lawbreakers.
“Why should illegal aliens get special treatment?”
Because illegal aliens spawn millions of new “citizens” every year. These unholy and illegal spawn will then grow up to be completely dependent upon, and subserviant to, the Democratic Party, and thus vote overwhelmingly for anybody with a (D) next to their name, every year, in every election. That’s why./s
And shoot, these folks are only being sent to Mexico for the most part, where they can do anything they please within the scope of Mexican law, which is still a lot nicer than most of the third world. Doesn’t Mexico recognize these US born children of Mexican nationals as having a dual citizenship?
Can we deport him?
Is a Kenyan village missing its idiot?
I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.A congressman that puts the advancement of illegal immigrants over the representation of his fellow countrymen is unworthy of his office.
I agree with him. We should deport their entire family.
When Etheridge was on camera assaulting that kid trying to interview him, they said that nothing could happen to him because of some obscure law stating that “congressman going to and from their official duties” couldn’t be arrested. Or something to that effect. Later found that he wasn’t doing anything official, if memory serves me correctly. So, why can this guy get locked up and not Etheridge? Unless I’m missing something. Anyone feel free to provide some info, if I’m incorrect.

The children and other family members of people who commit crimes are routinely (if unfortunately) "separated" from the criminal.
But that's not the fault of the state. That's the fault of the criminal.
Until criminals, including those who enter the United States illegally (or who deliberately overstay after a legal entry), realize that they truly are putting their families' lives and livelihoods at risk, we will have more and more crime.
Shorter version: It is the illegals who are holding their own children hostage, not the government. "Don't deport me or the kid gets it," sorta.
I partially agree with Gutierrez. When an illegal alien is deported, we should not separate families.
Deport the entire family including their anchor babies.
Right on.
