Where did you buy those case goods so cheap?

There is a new store here in San Jose called Fresh and Easy. They are all over California so there may be one near you.

Anyway, what you do is go to the canned goods section and look for the yellow tags.

I just remembered one item I bought is Turkey chili. 2 for $3 bucks. Not a smoking deal but I like chili and honestly, if it’s spicey it has to be pretty good. If not, I have cases of salsa, Tabasco, etc. and other spices to make anything edible.

Everything I have bought from them is pretty good though.

The on in San Jose is at the corner of Bird and Minnesota.

They also have this area where they put produce, meats, sandwiches, sushi for up to 50% off the original price.

They actually get way below 50% if you happen to be there at the right time.

The food is considered expired or getting ready to expire. It’s not even close but it’s their rules.

I bought some sushi a couple of weeks ago for $1.25. I bought a deli sandwich which was normally about $4.50 for $1.85.

Bought a 1# steak for $1.65 and I think it was normally around $5.

They had these BBQ packs for $5 containing 6 drumsticks, 6 hamburgers and 6 sausages. Super delicious and I would expect to pay $10-$12 at a regular store if they had the same thing.

I picked up 6 of them before the 4th of July for $3.50 each and cooked them for a “get together”.

Blamo! Everyone loved every item.

I hadn’t realized they chicken and hamburgers come pre-seasoned.

If you have a “Fresh and Easy” in your area...Go!

They have smoking deals all over the store.

If you are in San Jose or the Bay Area I can go with you and show you how to find deals.

Oh! I just remembered. That stuff I bought today?

I was handed a coupon for $5 off any purchase over $20!

I don’t remember the exact total but I had two sushi, two bags of red potatoes and some bean sprouts.

The sushi was $2 per and I wish they would put more wasabi in the package.

The red potatoes were 3# for $1.10.

The bean sprouts were $.50 cents or so for the bag.

They had a deal on come canned soups for .34 cents and I meant to get them yesterday but they were gone today.

So I looked at your profile and guess you are in the better part of our state, politically speaking. LOL

I love NoCal better.

Go the Fresh and Easy site to find a couple near you and get some smoking deals:

Oh, and those Union Nazi’s will be standing at the front door looking for sympathetic ears. Just keep walking past them.

There is usually a Fresh and Easy representative at the front door handing out coupons but the other idiots are paid True Believers.

Some of them are from other countries and don’t speak a lick of English.

One fellow was talking to me and I couldn’t understand a word he was saying, except for the word “Union”.

I started speaking Spanish and ......nothing.

I started laughing and asked one of his komrades where the dude was from.

One person answered “You know he doesn’t speak Spanish”

To which I replied “How the hell would I know? I can’t tell what he is speaking but it sounds familiar”.

(guess my making fun of him was obvious)

The person then said “Really? He’s black and you think he speaks Spanish?”.

“Really? He’s black? Well I wouldn’t have ever know that without you as my seeing eye dog”.

Someone said someone said something about the dude being from Suriname, Like I care. But I recalled they speak Dutch and some sort of French.

So I said “Well hell, he’s in Amerika and should speak some English or at least a language we can converse in”.

Guy says “They speak French down there”.

“Really?” I said “It ain’t that big a leap from Spanish to French and I can’t understand this dude. You should at least have people speaking the language of the territory, which happens to be English, here in the USA”.

I kept walking and when I got home looked up Suriname. Crazy Azz country.
