This is total BS. Nothing but commie propaganda. Liberals are the largest known drinkers. Shooters I know rarely even drink.

Oh, it’s from UC Davis: babysitter of homosexual, commie/libertarian, neo-Nazi brats from that neighborhood full of aging politicians and other big shots near there.

"...multi-state study shows certain gun owners more likely to drink excessively..."

"Certain" ones?

"Gun owners who carry concealed weapons or have confronted another person with a gun..."

People who are academics or sodomite convicts are linked to heavy drug abuse.

Let’s see.
76 - GA
80 - IN
85 - ME, ND
86 - SD
87 - FL
89 - OR, PA, WV
90 - ID, MS
91 - MT
94 - AK, AZ, TN, WY
95 - AR, NC, OK, NV, UT, VA
96 - TX, KY, WV again, SC

Makes 25 of 50 states with either liberal gun freedoms, or liberal infringement through registration (take your pick), laws, allowing some citizens to legally carry a concealed weapon.
I have no idea about open legal carry up to that point.

But - did any of these eight states in the survey come from the pool? Were they randomly chosen?
How did they verify the veracity of the participants, or otherwise account for it?

Does the questionnaire ask whether carrying a gun is legally done (whether concealed or otherwise)?

Stoopid gets what stoopid deserves.

Eight states “chose” to ask questions about firearms.

Answered own question about randomness right there.

Now, next question - what kind of state chooses to ask its citizens who owns a firearm or not? Gun friendly, or not?
Do ya think?

Shortly after I gave up alcohol, I lost all my guns in the lake.

I have not given up alcohol completely; I use beer as an after-exercise recovery drink (fluid, carbohydrate and pain killer). But I had the same kind of tragic boating accident.
