The ink was barely dry on President Barack Obamas nomination for Secretary of Commerce before congressional Republicans promised to oppose the pick.
California Rep. Darrel Issa, chairman of the House oversight committee, took aim at John Bryson, the nominee, calling him a green evangelist.
Oklahoma Republican Sen. James Inhofe promised to work actively to defeat Brysons nomination. Inhofe, ranking member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, said Tuesday that Obamas choice shows that he has no intention of backing down from his job-killing agenda.

The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Strike 1 - He is an attorney
Strike 2 - Yale Law School
Strike 3 - Helped found and served as general counsel of National Resources Defense Council
Strike 4 - Served as Chairman of the California Water Resources Control Board
Strike 5 - Served as President of the California Public Utilities Commission
Strike 6 - His only real private sector experience was serving as Chairman & CEO of Edison International, the parent company of a regulated utility - Southern California Edison

I want the Repubs to fight every single freaking thing issuing from the fetid White House. Doesn’t matter what/who it is. NO! Should be the response.
And let’s get rid of every czar, and any Sectrary that’s in charge of something not mandated by the Constitution.
WTF? That's simply not true. The Commerce Dept. has a variety of functions but not job creation. To my knowledge, no government agency is charged with that function. That's the purpose of the private sector.
I should have added “economic growth” after “job creation” in my comment to be consistent with the post.
