Michele Bachmann is totally wrong about the eligibility issue. Clearly she does not realize how serious this issue is. She says she takes the President's word on this issue. The Constitution requires the President to be a natural-born Citizen-not just anyone claiming to be born in Hawaii. This issue should have been investigated and resolved by Congress, before he was sworn in-Not by a clerk in Hawaii.
What about everything else? Is she wrong about taxes? Is she wrong about spending? Is she wrong about the size and scope of government? Is she wrong about UbamaCare? Is she wrong about drilling for oil? Is she wrong about the 2nd Amendment? Is she wrong about border control?
Bachmann’s blindness to the eligibility issue is the main reason I would never vote for her or Huck or Mitt and a few others thrown in.

Will 5 supreme court justices vote to remove him if it ever made it that far?
A clear example of why she should not be President. You must be able to stand tough when pressure builds. Mrs. Bachmann caved to the pressure when asked about the COLB. Her response should have been, we just want to see the long form. A man that has the power to send our brave men and women over seas to fight wars, sign bills into the law that cost trillions of dollars, order our ally leaders to leave their countries on his command but that same man can not just show his long form BC or college records? Why? Put the so-called reporter on the defensive.
Have you guys considered the fact that she might still agree with the Birthers but feels that the Liberal News Media would try to use that against her? Or that there is enough momentum on this issue already and it will take care of itself without her getting involved.
She has already made a statement basically saying just show the Certificate.
At the very least, she is an Asker.
You defeat you enemy by whatever means available. You do not give them a gentlemanly pass on X issue, because your enemey would certainly not give you one.
You do not assume that you can defeat your opponent on other issues, especially if you are the GOP, because the GOP cannot defeat 10 year old, soaking wet toilet paper.
She is wrong, he’s a fraud, and if people riot in the streets upon his removal. then arrest them.
Obama’s eligibility issue is such a widespread and deeply hidden scandal that if it ever saw the light of day, it would cause a political tsunami in this country.
That’s why politicians on either side of the aisle are reluctant, even afraid, to investigate and bring it out in the open. Too many of them have been stained by this scandal which could be the downfall of their careers.
They all hope that the scandal will just blow away by itself and be forgotten by the people.
” She has already made a statement basically saying just show the Certificate. “ ====================
Yes, she has said that. That is what they all should say, “just show the certificate”. Pretty simple and it isn’t accusatory. Her inside polling has to be showing this issue is not a winner in Iowa right now, where she has as good a chance as anyone there. I dunno.
“Will 5 supreme court justices vote to remove him if it ever made it that far?”
Can they? What does the Constitution say about the removal of a sitting President? It will probably be up to the voters. It will help if we can prove he was not a natural born citizen.
You have a Don Quixote complex.
Being an "Asker" is the way to turn the table on the liberal media.
It it beyond dispute that Obama is hiding his birth certificate. Not even the most liberal journalist can deny that and nobody can be ridiculed for claiming that. More importantly, the American voter can easily embrace that fact.
It is extremely easy to paint the enablers of Obama's deceit .... for whatever reason Obama wants to deceive .... as "HIDERS" .
The problem with the so-called "Birther" issue is that the "Born in Kenya" hype puts all it's eggs into one, single theory in regards to WHY Obama is hiding the birth certificate and that just happens to be a theory that 75% of American voters simply do not buy and consider "tinfoil hat" stuff.
Poll: One in four Americans think Obama was not born in U.S.
General elections are not won by dogmatically trying to cram your favorite theory (and that is all the "Born in Kenya" stuff is .... a theory) down America's throat even if 75% of America does not buy it.
Hypothetical example:
Candidate John Edwards was caught secretly sending money to a woman. Why?
"She is a KGB agent like Ana Chapman and he is funding a KGB spy ring to help his KGB masters. John Edwards is guilty of treason and America needs to know."
Four months later: "Seventy five percent of America is not buying the KGB theory and the liberal press is having a field day ridiculing us. Could there be another reason for the behavior?"
"NO! The woman is a KGB agent."
"Maybe she is his mistress and he is paying her off?"
"NO! SHE IS A KGB AGENT!"
"She recently gave birth. Maybe John Edwards is paying her because that is his illegitimate child."
"NO! NO! NO! SHE IS A KGB AGENT AND HE IS A TRAITOR!"
"Look, 75% of the American voters simply do not buy the KGB theory."
"KGB! KGB! KGB! TRAITOR! TRAITOR! TRAITOR!"
That's not the way to win an election, folks.
The discussion get turned 180 degrees by the liberal media from "John Edwards is a slimebag" to "John Edward's opponents are a bunch of tinfoil hat kooks" and 75% of all American voters ignore the slimebag and focus on the tinfoil hats.
Our goal should be to ensure that Obama is NOT reelected in 2012. That goal will be hurt by trying to cram the "Born in Kenya" theory down the throats of the 75% of all voters that want no part of it.
In my opinion, the "Born in Kenya" theory has more holes in it than a Swiss cheese factory. More importantly, 75% of all American voters simply ain't gonna buy it and beating them over the head with it only helps Obama paint the oppositions as obsessed kooks.
In my opinion, what is Obama hiding?
1.) That his birth was officially registered as "illegitimate" and his mother was listed as "Single". (Obama, Sr. was already married and polygamy is illegal in the U.S. Nobody has ever seen the marriage license or divorce decree of Obama, Sr. and Staley Ann Dunham.)
2.) That Obama, as an illegitimate child, was born with the name of Barry Dunham. Obama is therefore hiding a "white" surname given at birth that blows the entire "Dreams of my Father" hype out of the water.
Is that highly embarrassing?
You betcha.
What have Obama's lawyers specifically argued in Court when they have defended Obama's legal right to keep the documents hidden?
They have argued that the release would be "embarrassing" and the Courts have agreed.
Does Obama have an iron-clad legal right to refuse to release "embarrasing" information?
Yes.
Does Obama have an iron-clad legal right to cover up an illegal act such as ineligibility for the office of POTUS?
No.
Thus the Court have dismissed arguments that Obama is ineligible for office but, at the same time, have told America that it has no more right to see his birth certificate than America has a right to see your medical record.
Switching the debate from "Birther" to "HIDERS", is a winning strategy.
It switches the debate 180 degrees from "tinfoil hat kooks" to "What are you hiding and why are you hiding it?"
The continued insistence on forcing the cod liver oil of the "Born in Kenya" theory down the unwilling throats of 75% of all voters will bring nothing more than continued ridicule which does absolutely nothing but help Obama get reelected.
I really like Michelle Bachmann a lot but she really fell down in that interview with Stefi the other day. He is not that formidable. The day before Trump beach slapped him and moved on. Bachmann needs to have something prepared to say on the eligibility issue. It would have been very easy to just tell Steph not to blame her because there are lingering questions in the public arena about Barry’s eligibility. Then like Trump say “next question”.
