MTV Knows New Show May Break Child Porn Laws

Some crimes deserve harsher punishments, because they hurt children. Producing child pornography is one of those crimes. But now that MTV has discovered their hot new show may be considered child porn, their biggest concern is showing things as close to child porn as possible without getting themselves in legal trouble. Instead of running away from the disgusting act of showing kids in sexual and even nude scenes, MTV is seeking legal advice to push up against state laws without breaking them.

Skins (trailer here) is a new MTV show that premiered last Monday night. The program features teens involved in pretty explicit scenes of sex and drugs. Now that people have seen what the show is about advertisers (Taco Bell for example) are dropping it, family groups are boycotting, and some are calling for investigations that MTV may be breaking both child porn and sex offender laws.

The show’s problem is not simply about what it portrays, but who they have used to portray it. The vast majority of the actors on Skins are under 18 and some are as young as 15. So the show that has nudity and highly charged sexual scenes is actually using 15 and 16-year-olds to do those acts. If these scenes were filmed by a random adult in his home then he could possibly face 20 years for child pornography and become a registered sex offender. But MTV is a global empire and they are doing their best to avoid any legal problems.

Looks to me like they managed to include several of the communist goals for America into one show.

21) Gain control of key positions in radio, TV & motion pictures.

25) Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography, and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.

26) Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as "normal, natural, and healthy."

40) Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41) Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

May break Child Porn Laws? They know it does. How much talent do you have to have to show yourself with no clothes?

Does Sumner Redstone ever comment on this stuff?

I know this is a dumb question but, since the actors are all under age, where are their parents?

I think this show ran on BBC America last year and no one seemed to raise any concern.

The sexual child predators are running MTV. They have been for a long time. We have satellite tv and I have had MTV blocked for years, along with some other channels.

Counting the money they're making for pimping their kids.

Exactly, this is how socialism works to destroy the fabric of society, then they have foolish people they can take over and manipulate.

MTV is a sick piece of work and really needs to go back to what they were in the 80’s - MUSIC TELEVISION.

Maybe moves like this are enough so that you must subscribe to MTV instead of it being offered in the “standard packages”.

MTV has already gotten away with this abomination. The crime is not just in showing underage kids nude and in sexual situations. It’s in actually taking the pictures. These episodes are in the can so the deed has already been done.If DoJ was doing its job FBI agents would have already arrived with arrest warrants for all adults involved. Since that hasn’t happened, it’s unlikely that anything will. The only state govt that has real authority is the one where the vids were actually filmed and processed. You could go after the local cable companies for distribution, but that would not impact MTV.

I’ll bet they don’t have to worry about anything from the Obozo administration.

Regardless of whether or not the episodes air, the scripts have been written and shooting has likely taken place.

Move to investigate and prosecute now - the feds should have been kicking down the doors and seizing all related materials the second this show started filming. Intent and admission of criminal activity has been published, broadcast and promoted.

There is no grey area in this case.

Part of taking out our country as the most powerful ally to freedom existing in the World is a program of demoralization. MTV has been a tool towards that goal for some time now.

Sounds like they’re trying to drum up viewership by manufacturing a ‘controversy’.

“The program features teens involved in pretty explicit scenes of sex and drugs. “

Things continue on the rocket ride downwards. What's next; a showing showing suicides?

I bet you $10,000 dollars that’s coming next. I bet you $100,000 the next one will be titled “how to rape a minor” and it will be a documentary featuring advice from the nation’s ‘best’ child predators.

We have plenty of examples in history where evil increased exponentially in a VERY short period of time.

Sickening - these creatures would show bestiality if they could get away with it. Maybe for the fall season.

Viacom and Sumner Redstone have been a pox on American Culture for decades.

Redstone is very old...it will be good riddance.

and that Tom guy (Irish last name) runs (ran) MTV into the utter trash it is today is not better.

I know some of the CMT Viacom people here in Nashville...old Chet Flippo of Rolling Stone’s early days is the only decent one in the bunch...if that tells you anything.

all snotty urban progressives from Noo Yoick running a country music video channel in the mid South

and they appropriated Johnny Cash as their Che of Country Music with the help of his whacked daughter Rosanne...Cash was never a lefty.

I despise those pr*cks
