Leonardo DiCaprio To Star In Legacy Of Secrecy: The Mafia Assassinated JFK

Leonardo DiCaprio will star in the film adaptation of the 2008 book Legacy of Secrecy in which authors Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann rather conclusively establish that three mob bosses – Carlos Marcello, Santo Trafficante and Johnny Rosselli – were responsible for the assassination of President John F. Kennedy as reported by Terri Schwartz for MTV: "DiCaprio will play FBI informant Jack Van Laningham, who befriends the southern mafia leader, Carlos Marcello, a man the book fingers as the potential mastermind of the 1963 murder (he reportedly even confessed involvement)."

With regard to Marcello's confession to Laningham regarding the Kennedy assassination, in reviewing Legacy of Secrecy last year for the Herald Sun James Campbell wrote the following: "The strongest evidence the authors produce is Marcello's confession to an FBI informant in the 1980s. 'The FBI had managed to get an informant inside Marcello's cell and Marcello trusted this guy,' Waldron said. According to a 1985 memo quoted in the book, the informant told the FBI: 'On December 15, 1985, he (the informant) was in the company of Carlos Marcello and another inmate at the Federal Correctional Institute, Texarkana, Texas, engaged in conversation. Carlos Marcello discussed his intense dislike of former President John Kennedy as he often did. Unlike other such tirades against Kennedy, however, on this occasion Carlos Marcello said, referring to President Kennedy, 'Yeah, I had the son of bitch killed. I'm glad I did it. I'm sorry I couldn't have done it myself.'"

Even though it’s been proven without refute that Oswald acted alone, we still get these stories which of course make millions of dollars for the writers.

There is no proof of this and to the contrary Oswald had been watched the whole time.

This was an event that like Booth an allignment of the stars that allowed it to happen.

Anyone who has seen the PBS Frontline Documentary will be convinced once and for all:

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/oswald/etc/links.html

Total waste of time to see a good actor in a ridiculous movie.

Why not a conspiracy movie on our president? That I’ll watch.

If Leonardo DiCaprio is starring in it, it must be the gay Broadway musical version.

The mafia killed JFK in conspiracy with KKK members. Lee Oswald was a patsy/shooter and there may have been more than one shooter. For anyone to think oswald acted alone, they need to grow a brain.

Now now now... it’s not a ‘gay Broadway musical version.’ It’s a version with singers in comfortable shoes.

Is PBS the new Bible or something? I believe because PBS tells me so. LOL

Next you will be doubting the wisdom or the integrity of the Warren Commission, or indeed Earl Warren himself. He is responsible for the criminal justice system we enjoy to this very day. How could you doubt the integrity of such a man?

Robert Blakey, a mob buster for Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and the principal architect of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, is the author of The Plot To Kill The President in which he too concludes that the Mafia assassinated JFK as reported by David Talbot for Salon: “Blakey would emerge as the Warren Report’s most authoritative critic and a firm believer that Kennedy had died as the result of a conspiracy, masterminded by Marcello and his Mafia ally, Santo Trafficante, the Florida godfather who had been driven t of the lucrative Havana casino business by Castro and who had been recruited in the CIA plot to kill the Cuban leader.”

Curiously, Earl Warren also was a close friend of NYC restaurteer Toots Shur who was a front for mobster Frank Costello.

Yeah....You and Oliver Stone and this latest tripe....

Frontline was one of the few shoes worth watching on PBS.

Anyone who thinks that Oswald was working for the Mafia is an idiot...

Was there another gunman there that day? Don’t know. Maybe. But the autopsy and angles seems to refute that. Also the audio noise capture on a policeman’s radio.

Bottom line. Oswald was being tracked by the FBI the whole time. He acted alone. Maybe another gunman knocked off a shot, but again the FRontline Doc handles this.

Oswald was an expert Marksman in the ARmy.

I hate to correct you but Oswald was a Marine. You are also right about his marksmanship. From a distance of 250 yards he hit 246 bulls eyes out if 250 shots with open sights. The longest shot from the bookstore to Kennedy was 82 yards. He used a 6.5 mm bolt action Carcano with a scope.

I’m not sure why people don’t want to believe Oswald acted alone. I suppose I would have understood if this was 1965. Then, maybe you could say, there’s someone else still on the loose. But unless you’re talking about Castro, there isn’t likely anyone on the loose still today, and soon even Castro will be a bad memory.
