Christmas shopping? Spend you money at companies that at least make an effort to say Christmas.

Do Not spend a penny with these anti Christian types:

Barnes & Noble
CVS Pharmacy
Dick’s Sporting Goods
Office Depot
Radio Shack
Staples
SUPERVALU
Victoria’s Secret

I am glad to see that the honor roll is quite long, and the hall of shame quite short.

Once a homo not always a homo.

The point is that the company uses the word Christmas. A constant reminder of it is what it is...

Add online site, “Shutterfly” to boycott list. The site uses “Christmas”, but they only sell “holiday” cards.

Yes me too

I don’t think that it is a complete list. For example Kohl’s is not on the list and it never has the word Christmas on its advertising. Not surprising considering who owns that company.

Want to be nasty? Buy your usual socks, nails, whatever where you normally do. Then tell the manager to his/her face that since they do NOT want Christmas business, all your Christmas specific spending will be done elsewhere.
I did this several times last year, and enjoyed the looks on their faces.

I know pro-lifers have sought a boycott of Kohl’s for its support of abortion, but what else do you know about the owner of Kohl’s?

I’m with you for the most part ... but I think I have to draw the line at Victoria’s Secret. I shall not allow political or religious disagreements to get in the way of my very pro-lingerie beliefs.

But don’t you find their push-up bras a bit uncomfortable?

;-)

Haha. Well played.

For the record ... I’d have ask the wife to get specifics on the comfort of the push-up bra.

LOL... why not be well adventurous...try a lingerie company that does not need to advertise so much.

JC Penney’s and others pretty much sell the same stuff...at cheaper prices.

I’m not sure I’m down with this. So commercializing Christmas is fine? Look at that list and compare it to how the companies hand out political donations and you’ll see that a lot of AFA’s “green” companies are huge Democrat donors. That counts way more in my book than whether they pimp the birth of our Lord to push product.

I understand where you are coming from and I essentially agree about the commercialization aspect. I also realize that I prefer to spend what I do spend at places that actually tell people that it is Christmas.

So you are right...and I am looking forward to your list.
