This is a good thing. She should 1) leave, 2) go to a real college that has academic standards, and 3) get a real degree in something requiring room temp or higher IQ.

Another example of the fascist left-wing progressive movement trying to force their perverted morality on others.

The leftist fascists are not content with forcing people to act against their principles, they are forcing people to change their principles.

Every straight student need to leave, and let the university deal with the queers only.

“The suit alleges the university retaliated against Keeton for stating her belief that homosexuality is a lifestyle choice and not a “state of being,”

If homosexuality is not a choice, how come their choice in shoes is so FAB-U-LOUS!

“The ACA [American Counseling Association] Code of Ethics serves to ensure that counselors and counselors-in-training conduct themselves in a way which is consistent with the ideals of the profession. As such, the core values of diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion are present throughout the code and are crucial to the ethical decision-making process,” Erin Martz, ACA’s manager of ethics and professional standards wrote in an e-mailed statement.

Apparently they don't include anyone with her Christian beliefs.

I’m glad the leftists are no longer pretending to be nonjudgmental and are openly taking the position that nonconformist thinking will not be tolerated. This is an admission that they are no longer interested in freedom or diversity, and you’re either in lockstep compliance with their rigid ideology or against them. This is a sort of ‘coming out’ for what’s been their practice for years, and makes the battle lines easier to recognize. It also makes the same argument for those with opposing viewpoints who want to establish and maintain their own institutions, like Christian colleges and marriage.

"U.S. Augustas:
In addition to Maine (where it's the state capital), there's also a sizeable city named Augusta in Georgia, and smaller towns of the same name in Arkansas, Kansas and Montana. (This according to an index of towns and cities in a medium-sized atlas. There are almost certainly other Augustas that were deemed too small to be included in the index.)

Two of the subjects of the lawsuit, Mary Jane Anderson-Wiley (center), and Paulette Schenck (right).

These are the people who educate our children.

Note that the hyphenated last name of Anderson-Wiley (center) denotes marriage, and, presumably ... Never mind. Too awful to consider.

I read all of the comments from the OP. Good points are raised. Since when must you accept that the world view of others, is just as valid as yours? Pretending that is the case, does a disservice to all. Recusing yourself from working with a client whose lifestyle, or whatever, you find abhorrent, would at least be honest.

However, I guess we are not talking about honesty here. We should all pretend that all things, all ideas are equal, lest anyone be offended.

I wonder how they deal with muslim students.

This should go to the Supreme Court. Something in our bill of rights speaks about this subject.
